As they told me, I got a call today - from the doc himself - about our Jack's urine test results (he was peeing BLOOD) and am picking up his meds tonight - he has some inflammation. They couldn't do anything about the tumor but were helpful in navigating these last few weeks. When we made an end of life decision they did a house call, and did so with great empathy and patience.

Our female dog has a collapsed trachea and enlarged heart which causes her to cough often when put into stressful situations like vet visits. When we arrived at their office today, 10/28/23 @ 4PM, she was once again stressed and the extremely rude receptionist, Kim Champion, asked my wife and I to stand outside because our dog was too loud and thought she might be contagious. When I explained to her that she was in respiratory distress and had an appointment for her condition, she told me that we still needed to stand outside. Dr. Kaplan also chimed in and said she sounded terrible and needed to go outside. She has sounded like this for over a year and Kaplan and staff know this! We could have waited comfortably in one of their many open patient rooms, but NO they insisted we stand outside!! This infuriated me and I stormed out! I couldn't fathom how individuals that are so nasty and lack any compassion for pets in distress can work in a veterinary office! Dr. Hanan is by far the only good one left at that office. We have been customers of this practice for 11+ years and have spent several thousand dollars there. I guess our loyalty and patronage means nothing to this staff. It is time to move on to a vet that actually cares about their paying customers and their pets. I love my dogs and I was angered at how we were treated! I should have handled the situation better, but there is no excuse for the disrespect and lack of professionalism shown by Champion and Kaplan! When I informed them that we were leaving their practice, Champion said "Whatever and good!" We should have known not to expect much from a business that resides in a run down and abandoned shell of a shopping center!

After checking in we were directed to the Feline floor. Shortly after DJ came over to greet us and directed us to an exam room. Sans examined the exam room. lol The doctor came in and examined Sans. He was so busy exploring and looking out the window that he declined a treat. DJ comforted Sans while receiving his shot in his rear leg. A few minutes later he was back to exploring and didn't want to leave. DJ assisted with getting Sans ready and we proceeded to check out. There was an issue with my card and my bank was not open yet. David, Mia, Lauren and Kelly were very kind and patient as I sat in the waiting room to resolve the matter. From the most lovable and well socialized of my kitties, to the most reclusive and skittish fur babies, my animals and I have never had anything but an stress-free, personable, caring, and reassuring vet visits. Dr. Lee and his wife are truly the embodiment of the term 'salt of the earth' and the special touch they have with all animals is truly something that brings tears to my eyes and gives me such peace and comfort anytime I have to bring my fur babies in. Furthermore, his whole entire team are some of the kindest, most empathetic, and most considerate people I have ever met, and from the moment you walk through their door, you know that you are in good hands all around. I cannot recommend Gray Fox enough to any pet parent in need of any type of veterinary care, especially if you've had bad experiences in the past with other vet clinics. There was even one time my frantic pet parent self was basically asking Dr. Lee to run a whole bunch of expensive tests due to my anxiety, and within our appointment, he said that if I really wanted him to, he will run the tests, but in his opinion, it would be unnecessary costs for an issue that wasn't really much of a concern to begin with, and that he would hate for me to have to spend so much on tests or medication when it was something that time alone would heal, as well as limit possible side effects from the medication(s). That is another plus -- he does not price gouge, does not try to incur unnecessary costs, and certainly weighs out the pros and cons of things like side effects of medications to help pet parents make informed decisions, while thoroughly explaining his thought process and how he would handle things for his own pets. In summary, Dr. Lee has not only saved me things like money, anxiety, and time, but he has also provided an environment upon which both my animals and I feel safe, protected, and loved so it is always a beautiful and rewarding experience all around. My cats actually enjoy going to the vet because they know they will see one of their favorite people within Dr. Lee, while also getting loved on by his whole entire team. If you need any veterinary care, I strongly urge you to consider Gray Fox for your needs -- I can promise you that it will be the best decision you ever make for yourself and your fur babies alike. Began violently cleaning her teeth and caused more teeth to fall out. My husband called me while still in the office, I called to say I have the tooth in my hand look again. A tech rechecked her and confirmed the tooth was missing after the exam with the doctor was over. I called to asked for the exam fee to be refunded since no one actually examined my cat to confirm her tooth was missing. The manager was extremely rude, combative and asked us not to come back. No problem. We would never go back to such insane incompetence. I am filing a complaint with the veterinary board. This place should not have a license.
