I went to get my eyebrows threaded and it wasn't until I had already sat down I realized my threading artist was full blown sick. I could physically hear the snot in her nose, she was breathing through her mouth and I could feel her breathing on me the whole time, and every time she turned away she started coughing. I've never had an experience getting my eyebrows done where I got nauseas. She had a mask on, but when someone is that close to your face, it doesn't matter. I could still feel her breathing on me. Unfortunately, I ended up getting super sick just a few days later. Pretty sure that's not just a coincidence. PRIME IBROW: DON'T LET YOUR ARTISTS COME INTO WORK SICK. Extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability. - I'd like to clarify the sequence of events, as the version shared in your response doesn't accurately reflect what happened. I had a lash lift 8 weeks ago not "a few" which, based on previous communication from your studio, is within the standard timeframe. The technician only asked about my prior treatment after I was already lying down on the table. I came in without an appointment and asked if I could do a consultation. She let me know there was already one in the system, so I explained I just wanted to go over what happened last time. She listened and responded, "We can do your lashes today." At no point was I advised to wait or postpone the treatment. With this being the second time I've experienced lash damage here, I'm concerned about the pattern of placing responsibility back on the client. I've also reached out via Instagram, since your emails are bouncing--happy to continue the conversation there and work toward a resolution. -- This review is for their lash lifts. I've been to this studio three times. The first time was amazing. Kayla (who I don't believe works there anymore) gave me the best lash lift I've ever had. The second time, I forgot to select a specific tech and ended up with someone who completely damaged my lashes. They were frazzled, bent, and over-processed. When I gave feedback, I was told it was bec of my eye shape which felt like an odd way to deflect responsibility. Thankfully, Kayla was able to fix it a few days later. A year later, I decided to give the studio one more try after seeing they now had a "master lash artist." Honestly, I came back because it's the closest one to me and I was hoping things had improved. I even came in ahead of time to explain what happened previously to make sure it doesn't happen again. She was kind and seemed to listen, but the overall result looked messy and uneven. She asked if I liked it, and I honestly wasn't sure how to respond. It didn't look right, but I also wanted to give it time to settle. I said I'd wait it out since she reassured me I could come back, but realistically, a service like this should be done right the first time. This is the only lash place I've ever had to return to for a fix. Normally, you get the service once and it's done correctly. The studio is clean and the staff are nice, but the inconsistency and lack of quality control are unacceptable.

It didn't seem like she was in a rush because no one was waiting in the lobby. I left the studio content and confident because I've been waxed by Mona in the past and trusted her work. Unfortunately, when I got home I noticed that there were several stray stubby hairs remaining after the wax. It really annoys me when I go in for a Brazilian and a waxer is not diligently making sure that her work is thorough. I'm not trying to be that petty customer, but there were 20+ stray hairs. I have been waxing for years and I know waxers who take the time to tweeze any remainder hairs to make sure they have a clean finish.
