Bathroom were clean and the staff was friendly, but not super helpful. What I was most impressed by was the massive gift section. There were Hawkeye/Cyclone items, decor, wine and much more. Had I spent more time there, I am sure I would have walked out with a birthday present for my mother in-law or mom! Additionally, there is an Arbys (with a drive thru) and Godfathers housed here. They had three people working behind the counter and a quiet young guy tried to help me but apparently he was new and did not know how to do it so another lady helped him. After waiting about 20 minutes they finally told me that the authorization code was incorrect. I realized then that I had missed writing down one of the digits. Then it finally went through but then the lady that was training the guy got busy ringing up all of their other customers that came in way after me. At 12:45 pm I got up from the booth where I had been waiting patiently since they finally appeared to be over the rush hour. The brunette haired lady finally cashed the check and gave me the money and as she did so she asked me not to come in again during lunch time when I wanted to cash another check. I told her that I was a customer too as I too had spent 45.00 there getting gas. Apparently HER time is worth something but my time isn't. I told her that they just lost 1,200.00 per year as I would not come in there to get gas every two weeks.
