A solid hotel restaurant. It's convenient that you don't have to go far to get something to eat. I had the California Cut Steak which was a smaller portion but tasted great with the chimichurri. My friend had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap which was fairly large for a wrap. Love the non-alcoholic drink selection; my friend loved the twisted creamsicle she ordered. read more

We had a bad enough experience before even ordering, that we walked out. Walked in, saw that "Domestic Pints" were only $5....awesome! And one of my favorites, Belgian Moon, prominently displayed on the poster. The menu listed Belgian Moon and Rickard's Red as Domestic draughts....not "Imports" or "Specialty Beer". My father and I tried to order one of each and they said "no - only Coors Light, Coors Banquet and Northern Ale"....when I printed out the sign our waitress asked the manager and they still refused to honor their promotion so we walked out. BOTTOM LINE: Solid chain resto that offers food that's better than your typical bar. Came here for lunch and had their pulled pork on flat bread lunch combo, which was pretty solid. My DC has their bison burger - it was looked pretty massive and they were definitely generous with the brie. Casey's menu is fairly extensive with all sorts of typical bar food offerings. There's even a cocktail menu! Service was quick and staff were friendly. Overall, this is a no-brainer choice if it's a pub you're looking for. read more

A very welcoming atmosphere. Inside decor is beautiful and restaurant is well laid out. Service was exceptional. Food arrived piping hot, and quick. Steaks were cooked to perfection (medium rare) and presentation was very nice. 8 oz sirloin with baked potato and fresh and well cooked veggies. Side house salads to start boasted well cut veggies in bite sized bits. If we are ever back in the Sault we will visit this restaurant again. read more

I'm vegan, which when you're traveling is sometimes irritating to find good quality edible food. Casey's definitely met my expectation! The server knew just how to make my spinach salad vegan, and the portion size was huge! It was delicious also. The IPA's were tasty, and my boyfriend got a delicious veggie burger! Living in this city I've heard both good and bad opinions of this establishment. I can only speak to my own experience, and it has been great on several occasions. Only once did I have a minor critique, and it was because my cold drink (chocolate milk) was poured into a glass that was recently cleaned, and was still warmed (which warmed it slightly. Decent chain restaurant with your typical bar and grill menu, similar to Kelsey's. Family restaurant type atmosphere with quick service. Went in for dinner on a Saturday night and had the shrimp tacos to start and then the beef brisket and chicken burger. Both meals had pretty big portions without complaints. The tacos were very nice while the brisket was a bit bland with your average veggies and baked potato. The chicken burger was great with fries. Beer selection was OK with your normal drafts plus a few craft beers (Hop City/Creemore). Overall pretty average restaurant read more

"BOTTOM LINE", the food is crap. I hated it. I couldn't even finish my food. The only thing that was worth it was the alcohol, and they aren't very consistent at checking ID. Not even worth half the money they charge. read more

Food was good but service took forever. Over 30 minutes for appetizers to come out. The restaurant wasn't even close to full and many staff members were standing around doing nothing well we had to go out and find people to refill water. Sat on the bar side, party of 5. We were seated, and it took 20 min to put in our drink order, 45 min from sitting to receive our drinks (4 beer and 1 margarita nothing unusual - margarita was rimmed with sugar... who does that???). Took 1 hr 15 min or so to have our food order taken, and waited almost 2 hours for food to arrive. 2 pizza, 1 order of wings, 1 nacho platter, 1 poutine, 1 basket fries. I can't speak for the other's food, but my pizza was lukewarm/cold when it arrived, and the last times to arrive were the poutine and fries (10 minutes later than everything else). I had to get up and ask for ketchup for the fry order, and then again to get my wife a fork for the poutine (they didn't give us ANY utensils). Someone who was either the bar manager or restaurant manager stopped to acknowledge she'd seen we were waiting a long time (we were polite enough not to cause an issue or complain) but didn't extend any compensation and the explanation that they were really busy was poor. The seating area was maybe 30% full, and other people came after us, ordered, ate and paid their bills all while we were waiting. This comes down to competency of the server and management. They cooked a bag into my food. They claimed it was to keep the food warm yet it was mixed in with food. Vegetables were raw on everyone's plate (dinner with 8 people) Steaks were all bleeding rare despite the request for medium and medium well. Worst meal in a restaurant ever ! ! ! I have never sent anything back to the kitchen before but after ordering a steak medium and getting it served to me charred on the outside and raw on the inside I had no choice. Unfortunately it came back still raw so I sent it back again. Again it arrived raw (and I don't mean rare . . . it was raw!) The waitress explained they were having problems with the steaks due to their texture ? ! ? ! ? I gave them one more shot at it. By the time it arrived the four other people I was dining with were finished. I ate a few fries and the grilled tomato slice that accompanied the steak and wrapped the rest up for my friend to take home to her dog. $25 for a meal I could not eat and I had to stop at McDonalds on the way home for dinner. Raw chicken!! I ordered the chicken pharm thought it was bland while telling the person I was with I looked at the chicken and noticed it was raw told the server and he sent it back right away and got me some chips while I wait. Then thinking about it I changed my mind I dont want another meal I will have the two beers and the chips. I did just eat a bunch of raw chicken. At this point the manager Ryan comes by says sorry and I will take money off and give you a gift card. Also says I think there is only 7 Casey's left in canada. Non being were I live I told Ryan just comp my bill and it's fine. So get the bill everything is on it but my food. I asked Ryan (manager) do you think this is far you served me raw chicken and I'm paying for everything. He then said he us running a business and needs to make money. I then said take the price of my two beers of the bill and best he could do is half $8. Servers and everyone els was good. Management and I guess kitchen sucked. Will never go back.
