We were directed here since Giovanni was full. The restaurant was half full and we were oddly welcomed by the frozen food near the entrance. There were a couple of waitresses but they seemed super busy on a Saturday evening however they were friendly and helpful. Our food came in quick and the fried ravioli was crunchy and tasty. The clam chowder was a bit too watery for my taste but seemed okay. The pizza felt fresh and the chicken was well cooked. Definite recommend. read more

What an enjoyable lunch we had here. Arrive before noon for the best seating. They do have tables inside and out. Service was prompt and pleasant. There were so many options. We decided it wasn't a pizza kind of day. I had a hard time deciding and finally chose the Chicken Ceasar Wrap - it was perfect. Just the right amount of food, fresh and tasty. DH had the spaghetti and meat balls. He ate his fill and then had another meal from the left overs. The price was good, the service was attentative, but not over the top. read more

My Dad and I were on a road trip across Canada, we happened to stop in Sault St Marie. I found this restaurant and we had to try it. We ordered for pick up. We had a medium pizza with chicken, red peppers and feta cheese. It was phenomenal.. so tasty, so fresh, it was even amazing cold the next day. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks and they were also, so tasty, hot and crispy. The marinara sauce was flavourful and perfect. Thought I'd try this place for first time as I have tried every other Italian restaurant in the Sault. Little Disappointed. Order was 20 minutes late for pickup, which I get because holiday and everything...ok. Ordered spaghetti and meatballs as well as lasagna and Caesar salad. Got no Parmesan cheese with anything which kind of made the rest of the meal just meh, especially given the lack of sauce. Not much sauce on the spaghetti. I've read positive and negative reviews for this place and I remember trying their pizza years ago. Can't remember if it was any good or not but I guess the experience didn't leave a lasting impression. Regardless, on this cold and snowy evening, I decided to try the Penne Ala Calabrese for dinner. (Pasta with olive oil, garlic, calamata olives, sundried tomatoes, roasted peppers, grilled chicken and parmesan cheese) $15.95 Being in the Sault on business and away from home, I felt like I needed something to warm me up and what better than a hot pasta dish. My family LOVES this place. We don't live near Sault St. Marie but we drive through it a lot, and we will purposefully alter our route just so we can stop here. It's some of the best pizza we've ever had! I always get get the pierogi pizza and my sister and father get a custom Meat Lover's-esque pizza. The servers have always been very friendly, and when they accidentally brought me a coffee instead of a latte they didn't charge me for it :'). We've gotten the dessert before too and it's delicious. I'd 100% recommend to anyone in the area! read more

This place was recommended by an attendant on our train tour. She was right on. This town seems to have a pizza joint on every corner. We ordered a specialty pizza. The crust was light and soft. The toppings were fresh. This was a very tasty pizza. I would recommend this place if you want a good pizza. read more

My favourite pizza place in the Soo! The only place in town with vegan cheese as an option. They also offer gluten free crust. Their regular crust is great though. The perfect balance of light, fluffy, and crispy. Definitely recommend! read more

This was the first place I tried upon my arrival in SSM. Apparently pizza is what everyone eats here. There were loads of people in and out picking up pizzas. I didn't want pizza. I ordered the Italian sandwich. It was awful. Dry, tasteless, rubbery cheese, stale crunchy bread, no dressing at all. The sweet potato fries are processed frozen "fries". Terrible. Is it too hard to peel and cook real potatoes?? I choked down my food because after driving 8 hours i was famished. I did not finish the fries nor the bread. Maybe take stuff off the menu that is terrible and just do what you do best?? Don't eat here unless you want pizza. JMHO read more

Terrible food and service. Ordered for delivery, they said 1 hour. I called once after 1.5 hours. Guy said on the way. Called 30 minutes later (as we are about 10 minutes away). Girl answered and was snarky saying they were busy, and it's on the way. Only to find out that they both LIED. Driver told us they sent him to wrong address and he also told us he had 3 other orders to deliver before us. So...... wings were cold and pizza was cardboard, NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY GET MY BUSINESS. Lovely little restaurant. The staff was very friendly and attentive. All of the food was delicious. They were very accommodating to my father's requests and they fill the cannoli's per order which is a nice touch. The decor/atmosphere is forgettable and the menu has a few odd items on it, but otherwise this place was great! read more

I drive by the soo twice a week and never even knew about this hidden gem, after reading some good reviews about the place I decided to check it out... One word, WOW! I couldn't believe how good the food was here! Portions are huge and service here is excellent! Hands down pizza is on the top 3 of best pizza in my life! This was one of the most uninspired pizzas I have ever eaten... And that is the best thing I am going to say about this meal. Our pizza arrived with our soft drinks, which were kept in the warming bag with the pizza to ensure our drinks could not be cold. The canned mushrooms scattered across the pizza were in a word disgusting. This was paired with a soggy base. To top all this off, what really brought our meal to an end was finding a hair baked into my slice just before I took a bite. Last month some friends and I drove up to Sault Ste-Marie for the first time and landed at Fratelli's for dinner. There I enjoyed the best spaghetti carbonara I have ever had, and we all thoroughly loved the food. Our server, Ashlyn, was extremely friendly and attentive. One of the best restaurants in the entire city. I give it four stars because it's not a perfect place but what is? The Spaghetti is fantastic, provided you order in-house. Take-out spaghetti, as expected is often more half-assed then in-house, but has never soiled my experience. Most of the waitresses / waiters are friendly and will take your order with a smile. Waits can be long, particularly on special nights, but all in all I trust this restaurant with my food and I'm not easy to please. Been going for 10 years and will continue to return. read more
