Gas station has one job. Gas! None of the pumps were working as we scrambled to the airport.

First thing to know, Downtown Omaha is kind of a grocery store desert - or at least that was the impression I got from my visit. We were travelling with our toddler and while I KNOW she should be 100% off bottles, we are picking our fights and she still enjoys one with her milk in the morning and in the evening. That being said, we only brought two bottles and planned on cleaning them as we went. Our only problem was we forgot dish soap. After asking the front desk where would be the easiest place to find some they recommended Cubby's and they were right! While you pay convenience store prices, it was easy to pick up what we needed and they had a few options which was nice. The store itself has a good variety of food, snacks, odds and ends, and likely serves as a little grocer for anyone who lives nearby. I wouldn't say I loved this place so much I would definitely return, but I will say it was clean, had what we needed, and was conveneint, which really was about all I could ask for in a nearby convenience store.

Dear @Walgreens, You…read moresay you care about your employees. What I've personally witnessed tells a different story. I've witnessed employees assaulted by customers. I've witnessed employees assaulted by coworkers who remained employed afterward. I've witnessed stores left with a single employee to run the floor, even though robberies and emergencies happen. You claim theft is hurting your business, yet I've watched used makeup accepted for return. I've watched open food refunded. I've watched broken jewelry refunded after a customer admitted she wore it until it broke. At the same time, food that is still safe to eat is pulled from shelves and thrown into the dumpster instead of being donated to people who need it. Then there are the hours. Hiring someone as "full-time" means nothing if they're scheduled 12 hours a week. People can't pay rent, buy groceries, afford medications, or support their families on promises. Many Walgreens employees work two or three jobs just to survive. Your employees deserve safe workplaces. They deserve adequate staffing. They deserve consistent hours. They deserve policies that value people over waste. Stop talking about caring for your employees and start proving it. #Walgreens #RetailWorkers #WorkplaceSafety #Retail #WorkersRights

My go-to is the Rustica pizza, the hot honey on it has an amazing flavor. My friend ordered a standard pepper and was impressed with the flavor and quality. We also shared some of the best meatballs as an appetizer (it comes with bread for my bread lovers out there) Indoor and outdoor seating both provide a lovely dining experience! I'll be back soon!

It had a nice chew and some flop, but what really stood out was how light it felt. After a couple slices, I never had that heavy, "I just ate a bunch of pizza" feeling. The ingredients tasted high quality, and this is definitely a pizza I could see myself enjoying outside with a cold drink. Honestly, I probably should've paired it with a salad because the whole meal felt like it was designed for a lighter pizza experience. The staff was nice and the inside was fine, but there wasn't anything about the restaurant itself that really stuck with me. For me, the crust was the star of the visit.
