But the bottle label of my favorite, Quilt's "Threadcount Cabernet," tells me it's vinted and bottled in Rutherford, CA. Perhaps Tuscan Hills, the Best Effing Winery, is a small operation offering their wines along with wines from partners. Perhaps it's more an event center offering a limited selection of private labels. Perhaps an owner/manager will explain it to me differently. In any case, most of the wines we sampled were much better than we expected, and the food was fine, too. The staff members were friendly, carrying our case to the car.
