My truck broke down in the middle of nowhere, and I contacted the owner of Rowe Family Mobile Mechanic LLC for assistance. After speaking with him multiple times, he agreed to repair my truck. I paid him the full amount he requested, trusting that he would complete the job. The owner initially showed up, inspected my truck, and even took my driver to get a sandwich before returning. However, after that, things took a completely different turn. Since Wednesday, I have repeatedly tried to contact him to find out when the work would be completed. Every time I reach out, there seems to be another excuse. First, it is his wife or family, then his vehicle breaks down, or he has something else to take care of. Meanwhile, I have already paid him in full, and my truck is still not repaired. I have been left frustrated, disappointed, and without the service I paid for. This is unacceptable. When someone pays you for a service, they expect you to honor your agreement, communicate honestly, and complete the work. Customers should not have to chase a business owner repeatedly after paying for a service. I am sharing my experience to warn others and encourage them to do their research before handing over their hard-earned money. I believe customers deserve honesty, accountability, and professionalism. I intend to report this company to the appropriate authorities and pursue the necessary steps to recover my money.
