I feel compelled to share a not good experience from this morning. I arrived there right at…read more10:00am when they opened. I have gotten loans there several times in the past & the customer service has always been pretty good. Unfortunately today is was not. First the greeting was terrible. The lady on duty who l will leave nameless had helped me in the past. She acted like she had never seen me before. That alone was very insulting. Her whole attitude was unfriendly & impersonal. As a matter of fact she was downright rude to me. I even told her the experience so far is not good. She made me feel very uncomfortable. At that point I should have just walked out but I did not. So now apparently for whatever reason even though you have a clean, clear title you are asked to produce a current paycheck stub. Which is totally ridiculous. Never had to do that previously. I was not able to access it with my phone. At that point I was done. She even walked to the door waiting for me to leave. I almost felt like I was being kicked out. I did not say even 1 word as I left. If she cannot be more professional & polite. Not to mention appreciative to see a repeat customer like me she has no business in customer service. Needless to say I will never go back there again.

You'll know the strip mall area I'm talking about because it's green. You know how the prevalent theme here in Vegas is all "desert" shale and browns? The different color scheme is one of the reasons why I decided to stop by this particular location instead of the one down the street or yet another one on the corner of Decatur and Desert Inn. Green is good, green is calming...when I'm stuck at the light blasting Slayer having flashbacks of the CA101 during rush hour. Of course, "traffic" here in Vegas is a joke...but I digress. Upon entrance I was greeted by the friendly Mr. Matt Keim himself, and I was put at ease by his sincerity and warmth. Which is a rare experience, as I've learned to be wary of insurance peddlers as a wee lad. We then went over the different options, as I had purchased a new vehicle and wasn't too happy with my old contract with AAA (the insurance only, AAA roadside has saved my backside many times). I decided to get the bundle with renter's insurance, and the numbers were crunched. I was expecting to pay a lot more than what I was currently paying with AAA; after all the vehicle is a 2008 V6. To my surprise, it was actually $300 LESS than what I had budgeted for (I had researched Teh Gecko and Progressive as well) even with the renter's. No brainer. $1250?? Do it! The icing on the cake was a letter I got from Allstate quoting me $2500 for 6 months. I was laughing all the way to the bank. To make a withdrawal. So I could make a deposit. At Binion's. Later that evening. Kudos and THANK YOU to Matt and Bree for making a necessary evil a pleasant experience. You guys are so cool, even Kim-Jong Il would be smiling as he shits bunnies and rainbows.

Security Finance is not worth your time and treats its customers horribly…read more I have been a customer for a year, and the customer service decline has been steady, but has reached a new low today. I originated my loan with a manager who no longer works there, and since she's been gone, I have been given the round around and misinformation from the existing employees. I was asked by Gracie on Wednesday to renew my loan, and Gracie advised that the office would be open until 5pm on Friday and until 4pm on Saturday due to the holiday (they are normally closed on the weekends). Gracie told me to bring a most recent bill in order to renew my loan. I agreed. I called on Friday to make an appointment and spoke to Richard. Richard told me I didn't need an appointment, but needed additional paperwork to renew (that Gracie never told me I needed). I told Richard that I needed time to get my paperwork together. Richard reminded me that the office closed at 5pm on Friday and at 4pm on Saturday, I gathered my paperwork and arrived at the office at 11:50 am on Saturday. My nephew, who was with me, came to the front door while I gathered my paperwork to come inside. My nephew reported that there were people inside, and all 3 people looked up and acknowledged his existence. When I got out of my car, the same 3 people were locking the front door. I asked them if they were closed, and they said yes, we close at noon. When I asked them that again since I spoke to 2 different employees who told me that they were open until 4pm, a man identified himself as Richard, said he spoke to me and that he was leaving at noon. I asked him why did he leave when he saw me drive up before noon and saw my nephew peek in the window before noon. Richard had no explanation. The other 2 ladies that were with Richard said "whoever you talked to was wrong" and "our computers are off" and walked off. I explained that I'm an existing customer and asked for any type of customer service and one lady said "I'm not doing this in a parking lot" and walked away. I was embarrassed and angry that I was told wrong information, felt discriminated against and lied to, and experienced that the employees didn't' care to give me any type of service. During my time as a customer, Security Finance employees repeatedly asked me to refer other people to them. I can clearly say DO NOT EVER USE SECURITY FINANCE UNLESS YOU WANT HORRIBLE SERVICE AND TO BE TREATED AS IF YOU DON'T EXIST!!
