If I could rate 1 star, I would. Esmeralda is the rudest employee there. She is so bland and can't spark a conversation. Her laugh is so annoying as well. She was the rudest person I have ever came in contact with. Instead of helping me in my time of help, she was rude and did not help at all. She made me go back to my house to receive documents and when I got back to the store, she didn't even scan them in. But she said "corporate" denied me. Racist and rude. read more

I must say that visiting your location today in North Las Vegas was truly a nightmare. My business with your company soured due to very poor management and employees terrible communication abilities. Firstly, I called the Las Vegas Blvd location yesterday at 9:19 am. Marisella answered. I wanted to retry getting a loan since I was told I had been prequalified, but denied anyway a month earlier. Thanks In December I was told that my check stub net pay was too low for a loan, and to return with a greater hourly amount. There was no mention of any other disqualification. Marisella directs me to reapply online stating that my application from a month before was removed. However, the online reapplication was unsuccessful because my s.s. was already associated with an account. So I called the assistance hotline from the webpage. Then I was reconnected to my local store without any explanation. Marisella without any apology informs me that I may only apply in the store or over the phone but she would have to return my call. I agreed but she never called me. She also mentioned that not only did I need a larger check stub but also the First name on my stub needed to match my Nevada ID card. When I offered to bring an official letter from the social security office that verified my use of 2 First names under the same s.s. number, she replied that would be fine. She said she would forward it to corporate and if it that didn't work she would see what they could do to approve me somehow. At around 2:15 I arrived at the loan store. I was greeted by the store manager who wore the opposite of a smile, and spoke as if she was busy doing something else. I asked for Marisella right away after the cold welcome and was told she was on lunch. I asked to wait and was told 45 more minutes, and that Esmerlda would assist me after completion of another application. After finishing the app (which was never collected btw) I asked to wait for Marisella again since she knew my circumstances, but instead I was rushed to begin the process with Esmerlda whom I did not have 3 phone calls with earlier that day. Esmerlda had something against smiling as well. She seemed hesitant and newly hired. Anyway I agreed. Producing the very same documents verifying my IDENTITY accepted by the Nevada DMV, and more than one employer. Esmerlda said she would send my letter to corporate, and give her a few minutes. Finally after sitting in the waiting area with the manager and Esmerlda audibly whispering to one another I came over and asked if all the whispering was about me since the store was empty. Sure enough, these so-called professional people were speaking about me under their breath, and behind my back. They told me together that the regional manager disregarded my social security letter WITHOUT EXPLANATION and requested that I produce a name change document from a court. This infuriated me because as I had explained to Marisella twice over the phone my name had not technically been changed! I simply ADDED another name to go by for business/professional reasons. The new name Maximus does not Replace my birth name of Kevin anymore than a D.B.A. replaces its underlying original name. A concept that was not properly relayed to corporate, obviously by the strange request for a court document. I asked to speak with him or her to re-explain and was not permitted to. In lieu I was given another local number to call and this email. So Freddy and I left. ( I look after an elderly man who is 64 and he goes almost everywhere with me.) Freddy said it was hard to watch the treatment I endured. I still never saw Marisella and it was already after 3pm, but I repeatedly asked about the assurance Marisella made to me that if my document didn't work she would try to get me approved anyway, the two women pretended not to understand what I was saying. It seemed that Marisella was simply trying to get a body through the door, and collect personal information from as many people as possible for corporate, and attending the needs of the community happened secondarily. Almost as if her SOP knowledge trumps customer service skills. It would surprise me very much if the Vegas Blvd location is not the least profitable store in Vegas. All For a tiny hundred dollar loan, that would have helped but not worth the hell I was put through. How does "I HAVE TWO FIRST NAMES", sound anything like "I CHANGED MY NAME"? read more
