They literally scolded me for I didn't cash BOTH checks I received the same day from my business . They said they had to verify them. Fine I came back another day to cash it again after I never received a call back. Then EVEN AFTER verifying the check with THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY AND AFTER THEY HAVE CASHED MY CHECKS FOR SEVEN MONTHS. ... AND EVEN SPEAKING WITH A BRANCH MANAGER they want me to come back and process it with the teller that original denied me from cashing it in the first place. Then what the heck is the reason of calling the owner of my company on phone?' Literally makes no sense and I just lost 45 minutes of my time. I have also been using this location for 15 years?! But all I felt in the last week is a hardened criminal instead of a loyal customer for over a decade. Poorest customer service I've ever seen. read more

Needed to cash a check and I do not have a bank account, went to the bank first and they offered to put me on a friend's account but then said that I could never be taken off unless he closed the account, what a crock, so we went to Moneytree and found out they only charge $6 for a Government check! Service was friendly as well. Found out they sell bus passes, stamps, money orders and you can pay bills there! Fantastic. Went back a week later to buy a money order, they are cheap there and spoke with Avery, super nice guy! My new go to place! read more

I come here every week. Every Friday to cash my check to be exact:I have a bank account I don't have to come here but I like it here. I like the ladies that are here most of the time. They've been good to me and almost like friends they are so friendly. Today a new teller was here "Adrianna 2022". Teach her better customer service or tell her leave her bad day at home. After using the money tree at this location for over a year I was very satisfied with their service always a warm hello and great service. Today The money called me and asked me to close my account, SOLELY based on information about me that they read on the internet. This information was not flattering but still I have not been convicted of a crime, instead they The Money Tree that basically works with second chance people that have had problems blew me off as if they were Bank of America. I have to say...new guy, new to town; everything so unfamiliar from home...Dora and Penny made my transition far less challenging than I expected. They were patient with me and seem genuinely interested in me and concerned about me. Very unique skill sets. They don't make them like that much anymore. Quite refreshing to witness. While I wouldn't get a Pay Day loan EVER, they do have other stuff they provide services for, I needed a single stamp, and they will sell those for face value, and the clerk was nice enough to give me an envelope at no charge at all! The service was very fast and pleasant! read more

Service is always good. The only problem i have with this place is the godawful fake strawberry? Kinda sorta.. sickening stench that about knocks you out the minute you walk in the door, smells like one of those cheap air freshener things they used to put in public bathrooms. Please! The process can be a bit lengthy at times because of all of the verifications they have to do. However, the lines are short because they are well staffed and so overall they get the job done. I haven't had a reason to find another place to conduct my business so I am sure I will be returning. read more
