Called in, someone spoke so quickly I thought my head had actually spun in a circle, was thrown on hold in a confused state, not even positive I had called the correct business, yet, and was left on hold for so long I watched all my kids grow up, go off to college, and my hair go grey. If this is the treatment offered to a potential local business-to-business referral, with high rates of weekly referrals made, I'd hate to be a customer with an issue. Very poor customer service. You hear all sorts of of stuff that could make you feel very uneasy in regards to loan companies. because of that black cloud I only searched for companies that had a 4.0 or higher and the first one I saw was Cash1. Not only did they have a 4.9 but that rating came from well over 300 reviews. That told me all I needed to know. When I walked in Vanessa was polite, informative and patient with me and my questions. The one star is for the nice lady who pre approved me over the phone. I had a nightmare of a day when I found out someone stole my debt card and took a sweet vacation on my account, leaving me -$1000. The fraud department takes up to ten days to refund my money. My bills are overdue and I bit the bullet and contact a title loan place. The lady over the phone was so sweet. I was crying so hard but she reassured me I would be okay and they would take care of me. She pre approved me for $4,000.. I go to the location nearest me with all my needed documents. The lady at the counter was rude from the start. She said that I shouldn't have listened to the girl on the phone and that she didn't know anything. She also said she highly doubts I would get that much (great customer service). I hand her my 3 months of bank statements and tell her about the recent fraud on my account with the attached report number. She asks for pay stubs. I tell her I'm self employed. She said she needs pay stubs. I guess 3 months of deposits doesn't count.. I told her I work on call for the VA and haven't had a call in over a month and that's the only pay stub I receive. I showed her My bank statements prove my full time income. She rolled her eyes and asked what I do. (She looked at me like I was a drug dealing prostitute).. Im a hospice nurse! She said she was going to speak with her manager and walked away. At this point I'm crying again. Thinking about how I am going to lose my house and nobody will help me. I've never felt so low. We have been a customer with Cash 1 for over a year and did not experience any issue until this previous loan. We borrowed $700 and per our contract and what the representative (), we were told to pay back $731.27, the fins ace charge. When we went to pay off our loan, they changed the amount to $762.14. So magically it went $31 up. I spoke with the Store Manager, Vanessa who told me there's nothing that could be done and we had to pay the higher amount. After explaining how unfair and unethical this was, she spoke to her District Manager, Jen who also said nothing can be done. So we did not cause any hassle. We paid the higher amount and now I'll be reporting to their corporate office and yelping my review. They choose to lose a long-time customer over $31, how sad! Go somewhere else to take a loan, this place will rip you off. read more

I have to say I love this cash 1. They are always so nice and helpful. All the workers are very friendly. I been going here probably 2 years and definitely the best title loan place. All the men and women are awesome. Keep up the good work. There rates aren't bad either they do title and registration loans. I mean all title loan rates are bad its the beast that it is but when your broke it helps out or you need quick rent money. Your payments go toward the principal to pay it off faster. This is the worst CASH 1 location, I have ever been to. They are malicious and incompetent. I took a loan out on 10/9/21 and they are threatening attorneys and lawyers on 10/25/21 and this was left in a voicemail message. I did a registration loan for $300.00 that they somehow believed they had the right to turn into a tittle loan by filling a lien on the tittle. They will file a lien on your tittle right away- they lied and said only if you defaulted on payment. In reviewing the documents they filled a lien the next day- I took the loan out. Totally illegally. I found this out when I went to sell my car and it shows they had a lien. So I paid off the amount owed in full and they said they released the tittle but three days later it's still not released. I'm calling them they would get this attitude and assure us that the lien was released. In frustration I contacted the office on Northern/ 43rd avenue ( they are so awesome!!!) they told us that yeah it was showing not released they would contact the location about it. Well this will be 8 days since paying off the loan that it will take to get them off the tittle. I'm beyond frustrated with this company. I want nothing to do with them ever again they are awe full and I'm going to file a complaint against them next with the BBB and the AG. read more

Rip off liars! Straight out lied to me about paying off my $1000. Loan after paying $163. A month for 2 years. They say I still need them $1400. Then told me if I paid $700.
