During the process she regularly communicated at milestones of the project and did not hesitate to ask questions if she was not certain how we would want her to handle things. My mom had a lot of knick knacks and not a lot of valuable furniture or antiques. The sale still managed to earn enough to cover the emptying and clean out of her place without us needing to make a trip back there. Afterward, she provided the receipt book from the sale and a check for the balance that was left over. Tara and her crew are lovely hard working people with integrity. FL, and have no local contacts, we found Tori thru the internet having searched for an honest individual w/ a good reputation who would do both the estate sale and cleanout. Tori was the person we hired after a meeting via Zoom. We also met her IRL when we went to FL prior to the actual sale. Tori was equipped to not only do the sale, she also would dispose of the post-sale remaining items via consignment, donation, auction and landfill as appropriate. Tori's marketing, actual 2-day sale and final dispostioning were done without any issues at all. Following the estate sale we received a lengthy receipt which accounted for everything. And, copies of receipts for donations are on the way to us too. Items on consignment will be sold over a period of time. Tori's fee is in line with other companies doing this work. I can't say enough about the professionalism and ease of communication with Tori who owns Cubed Consign & Cleanout. She and her team did a wonderful job. Understand that these guys collect the money the day of the auction. They sold my valuables including, Lalique, silver & fine jewelry. The money they made on my auction was significant. Whenever I follow up with them, I try contacting their various numbers and find that that either their phones have been disconnected or are not accepting messages. One main line accepts messages however not once has anybody ever called me back. They Have recently moved to a new undisclosed area and the only way to contact them is through email. Scott Grasso the president emailed me once that I will get paid but that has not yet happened and he nor his wife who is onsite at the auction collecting the money will speak with me. The sales representative, Eric Sanudo who I trusted and seemed professional disconnected his cell phone and there's no way to contact them. When you go on to their website you can see that they are still conducting auctions. These poor people have no idea that their not going to get paid. When you sell someone's personal possessions and then keep all the money that's called STEALING!!!!! Warning, stay away from J. Sugarman!

Elizabeth and her team organized it all and sold everything they could and left us with an empty house. Friendly, compassionate, helpful and trustworthy. Elizabeth gave us everything we needed and went the extra mile to help us at every turn. Mom's house was in a gated community so they did the estate sale by appointment only. We needed to get it all sold and taken care of and couldn't possibly have done this ourselves. I recommended Elizabeth to our broker and she's been recommending her and every family has been as satisfied as we were. If you need to sell your stuff and clear out your home, you won't find anyone better for the job.

A little later, I overheard an employee telling another customer that the same item was going to be sold to them instead. When I questioned it, I was told that the other customer had made an appointment the day before, even though I also had an appointment and had already claimed the item in person. That made no sense and felt extremely dishonest and unprofessional. If items are not actually available to the first customer who finds and holds them, that should be clearly communicated upfront. The way this was handled was unfair, poorly managed, and left a very bad impression. I will not be attending this company's sales again.
