I called and asked for estimate on the repair, which he quickly gave me. Within a few days he was able to come repair the issue and charged me what he'd estimated. Visiting with him and his two crew members was pleasant as they completed the repair. He was polite and professional while being candid and straightforward in his responses with me. I wasn't a fan of having to pay over $3k for something that's buried and hidden, but nice to know the issue is resolved for decades for the new owners.

They took the model number and the error messages the machine was displaying and said they would call back. I called back an hour later and they refused to work on the machine. They didn't want to! Said I acted like I was their only customer when I called back. Again, they advertise that they are a Whirlpool service provider. Said to call someone else. I will never deal with them again and I advise others not to bother.

Instead, they recognized that the issues were probably on the supply side and suggested I contact my power provider. My power provider realized that the issue was theirs. It has been temporarily fixed as a second crew will need to come out to fix it properly. I had up to 8 people working on this issue for about 8 hours. Since this is a power company issue, it is going to cost me nothing. This says a lot about Valley Electric. They could have easily made a few bucks off of me but decided to do the right thing instead and provided excellent customer service.

He took apart both it and the light switch in his quest to find out what was wrong, tested every wire, the neutral, and the sockets to see if they had power, and replaced some small plastic items that needed replacing. When the fan and lights were working again, he was still not satisfied, because there was a small rattling noise, so he unscrewed the top of it to feel around, removed a piece of paper and did something else, tightened the screws, and I'm hearing just the slight hum of the fan blades as they whirl around. He will be the one I call the next time I need an electrician.

The rug still had visible spots, had an unpleasant smell, and overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. What was especially frustrating was that I was able to remove the remaining marks myself using Folex and a microfiber cloth. These were spots that I would reasonably expect a professional rug-cleaning service to address as part of the cleaning process. Given the condition of the rug when it was returned, I am very dissatisfied with the service I received and do not feel the cleaning met a reasonable professional standard.

I called them again to diagnose a red light on the unit, and their fees are $65 for a diagnostic and $175+ for travel time. Which is totally ridiculous, I know it's a +30 minute drive, but 3 times the diagnostic fee is ridiculous. The tech changed the battery that was supposedly faulty without telling me he was going to change it and then charging an astronomical fee to do so. I am very handy and just wanted a simple diagnostic, and I could have changed the small battery by myself for a quarter of the price. It's been a ton of back and forth with this company and I definitely don't recommend them or their practices to do work workout notifying first and their crazy travel fee. They should have caught the low battery issue when they came out a month prior as the red light came right back on after they left. I dont think they should have billed their ridiculous fees for coming out one month later if they didn't spot the issue right away. Please do some research and find another company.
