Applied online for a 200 dollar loan to get me thru until my next payday. I have direct deposit that goes in every 2 weeks which they can see. Since they do a "look" at your account. I'm negative 2 dollars and I got denied because of that. Well if I had money in my account I wouldn't be reaching out. DUHHH!!! This place has the worst customer service. Short Hispanic man (pete) was rude and not customer focused at all. I had a problem with incorrect and out dated information showing on my file. The nice lady helping me (Michelle) came to tell me what was going on and asked if I can provide the info. To clear up any misinformation and all would be fine. I explained to her about the mess up with my military status and even showed documents proving my statement. She went back to tell pete who then very loudly said TOO BAD, WE CAN'T HELP HER! I heard all of this from the lobby and was upset as I was nice and friendly with the entire staff. How about you have a refresher on how to talk to customers. TIP: Direct the customer to someone who can help. Pete is a shitty person and his service is even worse. If you have to get a loan, use a different company or at least a different location. Do NOT go to Cash Time Auto Loans unless you just want to give your car away. I was in a financial bind and needed a quick loan so after calling around Cash Time seemed like the best option. I went in with my car and title and was out the door with a check in my hand within 30 minutes. How wonderful! It was fast easy and very few questions asked. But the good things stopped there. I was put on a weekly payment plan of $125 every Monday for 23 weeks for a total of about $2800. I was loaned $800 on a car with a blue book value of $2300 and agreed to pay $2800 total. Maybe I'm the moron here but when in a bind I had no other options. So anyhow I pay my weekly payments for 8 weeks in person at the office cuz that was part of the agreement. The ninth week I went down to pay it and the office was closed due to it being a holiday. No big deal I thought, Ill just come back Tuesday morning. WRONG! I got up Tuesday late morning and my fricken car was gone!! Thinking it was stolen I called police and insurance company, etc. Come to find out the jerks at Cash Time took it. Apparently I had a 0 day grace period and as they said when I called "it's not their problem I defaulted the agreement." They wanted me to pay $1600 to get it back which was $600 more then I owed on the loan. UGH! The only reason I gave them 1 star is because I can't enter the review with no stars! read more

I've been to two locations. Always paid my loans off ahead of time. They lowered the amount they would loan me because I had a credit inquiry. I was supposed to get a referral fee twice. They promised me the fee both times pland then gave me the run around. I never got either referral fee. I go to Speedy now. They don't screw you. read more

This is the first time I've been to a loan place like this. I was completely uncomfortable the entire time. The young lady that helped me never made eye contact or explained anything. Answers to my questions were once sentence answers. She didn't even face me while in her office. She was turned away facing the opposite side of her desk towards the wall the entire time. Unless she looked over at her computer monitor. I left with a small loan but totally confused. I still don't understand the process and believe me, I tried getting her to explain it. I'm not sure she even understood it herself. Calling my phone, saying it was so I'd have their number. Ummmm, it's on all the paperwork. Just say you're checking to make sure it's a valid number. It's a legit reason. No reason to lie about it. Having me call my references saying you need to hear them say that it's ok to use them as a reference.... but when they didn't answer you checked the box saying "valid number". I'm still uncomfortable with the situation and will be paying this off asap. read more

I have used cash time loans on a couple of occasions of being in a bind. The interest rate is 100% (I can't vouch for people paying more than that). What the worker will not tell you is that, if you pay the loan off prior to the period of ending the loan, you will be simply pay back what you borrowed + the interest up until that point. Obviously lenders like this prey on poor people BUT you have to make sure this is simply being in a bind and you will have the amount that you borrowed within a month and you will have a low interest rate. They do not report positively on your credit but if you default, they will take your vehicle and it will be negatively on your credit. My card had expired and it was a short period of time where I didn't realize it. My car was not repossessed and I came in and paid the loan off. Again, this is for emergencies ONLY. If you won't have the sum of what you borrowed in 2-4 weeks, it is something you should think very hard about. Is it worth it? probably not. BTW your first time you are only allowed a small amount and then after you pay it off, you are eligible to borrow more next time. It has definitely helped me in a bind and while I feel it takes some money down the drain with the interest, most people waste that amount of money on other frivolous things in life anyway....so as long as you pay the balance off quickly (i.e. dont let it draft your account---- just pay it off) then it will be worth your while. read more
