I've never wandered inside this store until today and quite frankly, this wasn't in my to-do list and the usual spontaneous spirit in me kicked in... The store is small, quaint, and cozy, and the people that helped me so graciously today was Daniel and Wilfred (AKA--WOLF!). I have a huge GR that weighs almost 120lbs and had to see for myself if their dog bed will actually be suitable for doge. Per usual, I asked a ton of questions and both Daniel and Wolf were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating :') After semi-aggressively patting more pillows, chatting, and asking more questions, I left the store with a huge pillow (for hoomans) and an even larger dog bed. Daniel was so sweet and helpful. Using a dolly, he brought my items to a curb-side pick-up. I was able to just pull up with my car and he loaded the items inside my vehicle as well! I am home now and, after wrestling the dog bed into assembly, I can confidently say that my dog loves his new bed. I didn't even have to coax him into laying on it and it doesn't look like he cares about his old bed anymore, lol. He literally laid on his new dog bed 5 seconds after I put it on the floor! I think my cat wants one too! I look forward to my next visit to this store and hope I see Daniel and Wolf's familiar faces. You guys are the MVPs! read more

I've had my beloved Casper Dream mattress for over a month now and am writing to sing the praises of the product and this store. I had my mind set on a Sattva mattress but popped into the La Jolla store because my friend recommended that I try a Casper. From the moment I walked in, Daniel Rojas was everything a customer could want in a sales rep. He was friendly and welcoming but not the least bit overbearing. He was highly informed but didn't pummel me with information. He patiently answered all the many questions I had. He made it clear that he would support me in any way possible when it came to order and delivery. Sattva couldn't compete with Daniel's customer service or the product he offered, so I bought the mattress that day. I felt good about my purchase and even better when the package arrived right on schedule, and I actually got to sleep on the mattress. What a game-changer for my back! It's a great value for the price, and Daniel made sure I got all the discounts that were available. I had a couple of post-purchase follow-up questions and Daniel blew me away with his responsiveness and helpfulness. I mean, he really should be coaching others about how to be a world-class sleep specialist. Because of Daniel (and my Dream mattress!), I'm now a raving fan of Casper. We bought another Casper for the second bedroom and love that one, too. read more

I actually hate the fact that Caaper exists. You know why? Because I just wasted 30 years of my life sleeping on things that were not Casper mattresses. I can't get that time back. Melanie spent what seemed like hours walking me through each and every step of the buying process, she let me test every bed multiple times and helped me with my colorblindness to find just the right quilt and sheet set. If every store had a Melanie working there the world would be an infinitely better place. She gives me hope for mankind as a whole as we plunge further from the light of God every day as a species. Extremely displeased with Casper's customer service. We purchased the original mattress and adjustable base last Monday on Labor Day, had to remove the bed frame because it wouldn't arrive until Oct.26th (usually in this case companies would give a discount or throw in a free pillow case but it's whatever). We were going to pay the $200 for assembly but the employee ensured us the base was easy to setup and assemble, too bad he forgot to mention the base is super heavy and impossible(esp for those with bad backs which we mentioned was the reason for the purchase in the first place) to move let alone take up stairs. And the electrical wiring does not look as simple as plug in yellow to yellow. Called customer service today to see what we can do and they just gave us a b.s apology for the inconvenience and told us we have to pay the $200 for someone to come move it up the stairs. No discounts, no expedited service just a give us more money apology. Really hope one day I can actually get to review the purchase. read more

My husband & I spent a couple of hours at the Casper mattress store at UTC. Wilford, assistant manager, took the time to go over each of the beds there in store. The beds are very comfortable & in a price range that makes them very affordable. We had decided to change from a water bed to a more conventional bed a few months ago. My mom & dad had Sleep number beds so we bought a Cal King iLE 360 Smart Bed. After two months of sleeping on it we were very disappointed with the lack of comfort. We started researching hybrid beds. Purple, Wink, and a few others look like they might work. We also looked at the silver chill plush hybrid by Sealy. Being able to try out & lay on the Casper Mattress was a big plus. The store is very cozy & not a big warehouse. You really need to lay down & get the feel of a bed. The UTC store was a perfect place to try out the bed. Sleep number will being picking up our bed in a few weeks, about the time our new Casper bed is delivered. I will come back & review the bed after a few months of sleeping on it. read more

I really need a new mattress...mine isn't old...but it's horribly uncomfortable...ugh...wish i had returned it when i still could. I keep hearing about Casper mattresses but i'm not about to buy something without checking it out. I was walking by here the other day and got drawn in. I was greeted by Jeffrey. He showed me around the store and explained the different beds. I layed down and tried them all out (yes all of them!) they are all set up in different rooms and he offered to close the curtains so i could comfortably check out the beds. Purchased a Casper mattress and adjustable base We were offered the in home setup but our person said it would be easy to set up since we weren't buying a frame. Got the delivery this morning and the base is abnormally heavy, I have upper back pain which was what led me to this purchase. Really displeased that I now have to wait another week for someone to come out and move it and do the build. Not the best first experience if you ask me. read more

This place is horrible. We ordered an expensive mattress and Mattress protector. On day of delivery their agents didn't know we we were expecting two items. Despite the confirmation email (and our bill showing we got 2 items) Their delivery agent XPO said "not our fault" and blames Casper and pretty much said it's your problem, nothing we can do. It has now been over a week and still no word. I've called a few times, and left messages on their text system. I emailed the agent Wilfred E in their UTC store three times and still no responses. The process of purchasing the mattress is very easy. I felt a little bit like Goldilocks. That bed was too soft, that one was too hard, and that one was just right. It was ordered and I was very specific that I needed it delivered, brought upstairs, and the old mattress hold away. That did not happen. UPS delivered it and left it downstairs. For all of that hassle I would've given them zero stars. But I was very pleased with Josh in your customer service department who arranged to have a delivery company bring it upstairs, set it up, and haul away the old mattress. They did it in a very timely manner and overall it made a horrible experience very nice. The bed is very comfortable. I am sleeping very well and hope that they establish the proper delivery process with the store. It was obviously their error that they had UPS deliver it instead of their delivery company. read more

My parents bought an expensive mattress there. Delivery was promised on a certain day but on that day the staff claimed it MIGHT be delivered in a few weeks. It has yet to arrive. I ordered a casper king original hybrid mattress November 6, 2022 from the UTC Casper store. on 11/14/22 they delivered a Cal King [wrong size mattress] and the delivery guys refused to assemble the head board. Casper customer service reps and supervisors were ordered a correct size King; first they said it was delivered to the RXO warehouse 11/16 but on 11/22 casper customer service told me it was lost in the RXO warehouse. 11/23 Casper ordered another King which Casper had delivered directly to my house by UPS on 11/25. Installers set up the 100 pound mattress and headboard and removed the Cal King. I spent at least ten hours on the phone talking to Casper; it was a horrible ordering experience. They only reduced the price by 15% and refunded the $200 delivery charge...not enough compensation. Tried to call Casper corporate HQ in New York City but that phone number is not listed anywhere. read more

We ordered a Casper mattress from this location. The sales person said that we had to buy a mattress protector so that if we didn't like the mattress we could return it. Their return policy states that you have 90 days to try out the bed. In a couple of weeks, we realized it was not going to work out for us. We emailed and asked for a return. As it turns out, the mattress is donated, so no mattress protector necessary. Also, they said we would be contacted within a week for a scheduled pick up. This never happened. We finally had to call up again and they did provide fast service with a company that showed up that day, but now it's 4 weeks later and we have yet to receive a credit on our statement. Their supposedly easy return policy, is anything but...still waiting. read more
