This is a long overdue review for Ron and his true care for his customers! I needed a mattress for my new apartment and until getting one, was sleeping on an air mattress. I came to tempurpedic to find a good mattress and was greeted by Ron. I tried out a few mattresses, found the best fit for me and my budget and Ron went above and beyond getting the mattress ordered and told me it would take about to weeks before delivery since they come freshly made from the warehouse. Two weeks go by and I get an email saying my mattress was on its way. I call Ron and check in and he said it was in Albuquerque headed to SoCal and should be delivered within the next 3-5 days, that he would call me when it was at the warehouse etc. The next day, Ron called to inform me the mattress was in Texas heading back east and he had no idea what was going on, tried calling corporate to no avail, etc. I was super stressed as I hadn't gotten a good nights sleep in over two weeks and he immediately came up with a solution. Ron called a friend of his from a completely different mattress shop to see if they had mine in stock there, which they did. Without getting into too much detail, let's just say I got a mattress within 2 days delivered and set up from the other shop. Ron sacrificed his commission on the mattress sale and took the time to help me get a bed as promised. To boot, he said to come up to the shop and he had a sheet set waiting for me (Tempurpedic) on the house. Tempurpedic is a great mattress but Ron is the best salesman I have ever had the pleasure working with. He REALLY cares about his customers and will do whatever it takes to ensure their happiness.... Even if it means sacrificing his own pay on account of the companies mistake. I'll never forget Ron and will be making a trip up to the store soon to say hello :-) read more

These people are a bunch of crooks. Refused delivery June 12 for numerous reasons Several conversations and emails saying they are refunding my charge. Been a month now no refund. Delivery service was horrible Be careful don't do business with these people read more

This place has very friendly workers. Great delivery. Prices seemed (emphasis on this word) fair for the product. The bed was great for about a few years or so. That's when the trouble began and their warranty turned out to be worthless. My side of the bed has a gigantic lump in it when I lay on it. They say they won't cover the warranty unless it can be shown with a yard stick/ruler on the top of the mattress. The problem is it's the inside of the mattress that has broken down which a flat yard stick won't show. Definitely will not be buying a Tempur-Pedic again. The best place to buy a mattress is probably Costco since they stand behind all their products... whether the manufacturer does or not with their useless warranty!!!! read more

To be clear we purchased our mattress online but since there is no place to leave a Yelp review for the online company I'm leaving it here. Completely dissatisfied! #1 We were told that the frame would fit in our Thuma Bedframe. This was not true, it fit at its highest height- my wife and I are both short and that was too high for us. We had to get rid of our bedframe to make the NON-RETURNABLE adjustable frame work. #2 - The frame itself is loud and very awkward. We cannot find comfortable spots. We purchased the bed and frame because we really liked the idea of the sleep technology. I am not a light sleeper, but every night the head raised, it woke me up. Leaving me wide awake at 2:30 nearly every morning. We also now have to call out support because one side of the frame vibrates loudly whenever motors engage to raise or lower the bed. #3 - The mattress itself is actually warmer than our previous mattress which was a Saatva. The cooling technology (the luxe breeze line) simply does not work. We are using Tempur-pedic mattress pads (which we were told we should purchase to protect the warranty, but actually got to protect our long term investment) which doesnt seem to let any of the cooling properties through. The Luxe Breeze & adjustable bed frame; was not worth the extreme cost. #4- Neither my wife or I have got a good nights sleep since purchasing this mattress. #5- making the bed with the frame rails at the bottom is nearly impossible, especially in consideration with the weight of the mattress. This horrible experience cost us $4368.00. And you cannot put a price on the time lost to process the return, write this email, arrange to be home for the pick up, etc. Lastly, their website boasts 100% customer satisfaction. When I made the return I specifically spoke with the representative and calmy shared our concerns, no one even made an attempt to address those concerns, simply issued an email approving the return. In addition to this being our worst purchase ever, we could not believe the lack of assistance or customer service. read more

I went to the store and shop around for the sheets. The gentleman was very nice and I do love the products. I asked the gentleman about the return policy online and in-store. He told me that the company will take the return as long as you didn't opened or used it. So I went home and brought two sets of sheets. Of course, the website has a bad design and they don't care if you called them! They excused us as we do not take the return because we save the environment and rather waste customer's money. No Honest, doesn't care about the customer, and waste consumer money! read more

We had a good experience here, and ended up taking home a mattress that we love so far. Pablo was great- he let us take all the time we needed to try out mattresses and helped us figure out a couple that would work best for us, which kept it from being too overwhelming. I am not reviewing this store, however am reviewing the corporate warranty. The warranty is of NO VALUE. The mattress has lost it's support well within the warranty period. Just wanted to write a review of this Tempurpedic store. I was in La Jolla Housesitting and had been planning to get a new set of pillows. I dropped in, with my rubber gloves in my back pocket, assuming I wouldn't be able to touch them without it, and got a pleasant surprise. Tom offered to let me test out the pillows with a soft paper cover (there is STILL a pandemic, after all). He explained my options base on body type and preference. And I can ended up finding the perfect pillows. Slept like a bébé last night and am thrilled with the entire experience. What a fabulous and relaxing store. My wife and I came across this shop yesterday after enjoying a nearby lunch and tried out several pillows. What stood out the most was the outstanding customer service, the very relaxed energy and the cleanliness and brightness of the shop. Personally want to thank Magdi for his excellent customer service. I thoroughly enjoyed my first night's sleep on my new breeze pillow. Don't buy sheets from Tempur-Pedic! I bought king sheet set plus additional pillow cases on-line for $345 on sale! They do not fit my Tempur-Pedic mattress and Tempur-Pedic customer service Dept advised that they do not accept returns in bedding. Customer Service advised that sheets are designed to fit mattresses with toppers, however, there is no such disclaimer on website. This is false and misleading advertising and bad business practice. Their mattresses and pillows are great but do not buy sheets from them! read more

Do not buy a Tempurpedic bed. It will fail and their warranty is worthless. My $3500 bed failed after five years. Despite a 20 year warranty, I have been refused any resolution. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau about this sham warranty. Two months later, still getting the royal runaround from Tempurpedic. Come to find out that Tempurpedic is not accredited by the BBB so there is no reason or incentive for them to honor their false warranty practices. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Now I will be forced to purchase a different bed, one that won't sag in the first couple of years, causing untold back pain and nights of poor restless sleep. If this review prevents one person from purchasing a Tempurpedic mattress then I will have achieved my goal of exposing what a complete and utter sham this company really is. read more

We came in a purchased sweet cal king set that was back ordered for about a month, not a problem. Addy was out initial sales rep, very but we had asked for information on the accessories on the showroom models, all the beds had theses fabric wraps around the bed frame and we asked for information on how to get them, well I never heard back from Addy anout these items except hearing that they were purchased from Crate & Barrel, but she saw d she would get detail and pricing about these. Two weeks later I call the store looking for more info about the bed and those wrappers, Tom the manager tells me that Addy no longer works there and she's moved on. Well I asked him the same questions about the frame covers, he said off hand he, did not have any info on them. Strange since all their models, about 20 beds in the showroom all had aversion have them. Tom was there when we purchased the bed and said he would research it and call me back with details. Well we though Tom would actually call me back, you would think you spend $7k on a bed, a phone call back should not be to difficult, but two more weeks passed, and still no response. This is not the response I expect from a store manager manager after dropping $7k on a bed that has not yet been delivered. Then a week later my wife calls the store Tom answers and my wife also asked for info on the same framer wrappers , he says he'll call her back, and she says well you told my husband you would call him back too and he's still waiting. Tom's response, he didn't recall ever speaking to me , and he still maverick called my wife back as well. They just must be so busy there to recall and call back their customers. I felt compelled to leave a review after working with Ron to find our new bed. My wife and I both thought he was excellent. Ron is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and is never pushy. He walked us through multiple different beds and the features of each while never trying to upsell. Huge relief after working with some other very pushy mattress sales people. We will be back for pillows after taking delivery of our bed and would recommend Ron to anyone looking for a bed! read more

I walked into the Tempur-Pedic store thinking I knew exactly what I wanted in a bed (firm). After explaining my health and sleep issues to Ron, he gently guided me toward a much different mattress than I was planning on. He encouraged me to try out medium-feel and even soft-feel mattresses, and listen to what my body was saying about them - not the predetermined beliefs I had in my head. He was so patient as I went back and forth *several* times between each model. Even when other potential customers walked in, Ron did not let my indecisiveness be a reason to cater to them instead. I felt like his sole objective was to help me make the best decision for my own sleep quality. And, to top it all off, the delivery service was outstanding as well. Just four days after my purchase, I am already enjoying my new (soft!) Tempur-Pedic bed. read more

Madgi Ahmed helped my husband and I out at the Tempur Pedic store in La Jolla last week. We felt immediately comfortable walking into the clean, spacious showroom. When Madgi greeted us he made us feel at ease right away and began asking us what we were looking for. He listened to our situation, what we liked and didn't like and allowed us to try out multiple options with no rush or pressure. As we were testing each mattress, he did a wonderful job sharing his in-depth knowledge about the Tempur technology, how we should think about firmness based on our sleeping habits and considerations on cost. I took my shoes off and felt like I had all the time in the world to make a decision. Once we had all the information we needed, he provided us with his contact information and additional details on an upcoming sale and how their trial period works. Drove down to this Tempur-Pedic store as it is the flagship store. Barry was our salesman, he was great. He was super knowledgeable and helped us find the perfect mattress. The measures they took to keep everything sanitized and clean was very reassuring. We had fun joking around with Barry as well. He made the process easy and at no point we felt any pressure to buy. The financing was incredibly fast and simple. The mattress was delivered this week (also a seamless process) and we are happy happy customers! From the first moment I called and talked with Ron until Magdi was helping me and my two year old out to our car I knew I was in good hands. These guys are kind hearted people who genuinely care about the quality of sleep your family is getting. Ron is direct and friendly with a warm heart. He let me explain my cares and concerns about finding the right mattress on the phone and introduced me to Magdi. Magdi was generous with his time and very informative. I'm so grateful I found this store today. I have been to four different stores to look for a mattress to give us good sleep and relief for our backs and this was the clear answer.
