Then someone came to us and asked us what we were waiting for, checked us in again, then finally we got in 30 min past our appointment. There was little empathy that my child and dog were going to have a meltdown because it was LATE. As others commented, at least the photographer we had, failed to engage our child other than to shake a tambourine and then eventually just drop it on the floor so it made a loud noise. Besides standing and sitting on the floor, we had no other props. The photos we received back were uncut -- like I have to physically cut them myself with scissors. I left 1 star because it is pretty convenient that we can select, print, and take our photos the same day. This is definitely helpful if you're in a pinch for photos. But perhaps that's the reason why we felt so rushed -- because they're working double duty. Felt understaffed.

They have a few negatives but obviously enough positives to keep me coming back. I also prefer this Buy Buy Baby location because not too many people know about it and it tends not to be as crowded as the Roosevelt Field location. It's best to try and make an appointment even though that doesn't mean you'll start at that time. For the negatives: -wait time can get crazy -very expensive and overpriced -sometimes very unprofessional,unpleasant or inexperienced photographers. -they are trained to oversell and talk you into spending money you didn't plan on spending The positives: -no sitting fees -instant prints. You don't have to come back for your pictures. You get them on the spot. -coupons/groupons/membership perks -backdrops & props available to you Ok so, despite all the negatives, they have reasons to come here. If you use your coupons or get a groupon you can really save. The membership makes sense if you are going to come in and get pictures done anywhere from 2-6x a year--some people don't have time for that. I did when I was a stay at home mom and it was great but it's impossible for me to take advantage of it now. I believe it's about $40 also but you definitely get your money's worth. They charge $18 a sheet. The cd with the prints is $125 I believe. Ridiculous. Lol the trilogy(frame with 3 pictures is 150$). Just crazy prices. But they do get people All the time. Our photos came out boring and not much of a selection when it comes to the holiday cards. Good thing I bought through Groupon. We tried anyway.. after one photo, baby fell back and hit her head so now she was upset for a few minutes, took about 3-5 mins for her to feel better. I take full responsibility for her falling because I wasn't close enough to catch her, but once she fell photographer sighed and I felt rushed to hurry up and get the next picture in. I understand she has other photo shoots to do, but for the amount of money we paid. You'd think she'd give us a few minutes for my baby to get into a better mood and for her eyes to get less puffy. You could tell she was just there to make her quick money and that's it, didn't care if baby was alright. When we were reviewing photos, the exposure was crazy bright or too dark.
