Well im definitely a bit disappointed in everything with this company. They were highly recommended. The photographer we had wanted to take pictures of us with everyone else and barely got pictures of my husband and I. We got stuck using similar pictures in our album because that all he took of us. They really didn't capture the moments of the wedding the way we expected them too. Got my album recently it was nice for the most part. Had a few blurry pictures in it though. Kinda wish someone reached out to me and told me. When I picked the pictures from my computer they were not blurry, so I dont what went wrong. I understand I got an unedited DVD but it was not worth the amount they charge for it. The trailer they sent me was cute.... I never had an issues with them. Always got responses whenever I reached out to them and always nice. They were easy to deal with and pretty accurate with how long things would take.... As my family and I were planning my sweet 16 we wanted everything to be perfect and when we were looking for photographers we came across Cassarino studios and I looked at there website and immediately fell in love with there work. When my mom and I went to the store that they just moved to we both were amazed at how nice the store was my mom also knew the main person there so he was helping us a lot with what we wanted. All of our wedding pictures/album came out beautiful! It took 10 months to get our wedding album, but it was worth the wait. The day of our wedding Razz, Nick, and Dave were amazing and took thousands of pictures for us. My only suggestion is if you want specific pictures taken, make sure you write them down and give it to your photographer the day of because there's a lot going on that day to remember everything even if you had mentioned it to them prior. There's some pictures that I would have liked, such as my grandmother and I alone and a picture with my brothers and I alone. At the end of the day, it was worth every penny to go with Cassarino and everyone we delt with were very helpful and their work is true quality! read more

Well received a phone call today from Joseph in regards to the service from cassarino and for how long it took to reciceve our wedding album and he stated he was unacceptable. While I'm not happy how long it took for a response from the Company I have to say his apology was sincere and I do feel the are trying to make things right as they offered my a free photo shoot for my child ..I do Believe in second chances and I will take up the offer as RAZ our wedding photographer is the best and I would love to use him again read more

First off, we received the raw footage of our wedding video nearly a year after our wedding. Going through the video, the videographer stopped recording video halfway through the ceremony, in the middle of me (groom) reciting a poem aloud. Not only was this cut out, but there was absolutely no video footage of the bouquet toss or cake cutting. What the hell did I pay these people for?! I was told they were splice in photos of these events to fill in, but come on... This is unacceptable. We opted to not get a photo album because we preferred having video memories of this day, and that's mostly gone out the window. It's been almost two years since the wedding and we still don't even have the final video and they won't return our phone calls. Serious let down. I would not recommend this place. read more

My wife and I were married May 5th used Cassarino studios for both photography and video. I have to say we were extremely pleased on both accounts. We had met with Joe and George in the beginning and expressed what we were looking for and they delivered on our wedding day. Both Joe and George took the time to understand what we were comfortable with and picked two great photographers in Jodi and Razz for our day. They were both so easy to work with making it very comfortable. Having seen the proofs they took amazing shots making it tough to choose. We did not want to have the photographer take us away from our day or be too pushy. Jodi and Razz were perfect on both accounts. The same can be said for our videographer whose name escapes me at the moment. Everyone at Cassarino has been a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to anyone looking for great photographers who will listen to your needs and tailor something to meet them on your wedding read more

Gregg S. My wife and I used Cassarino for photography and video for our February 2018 wedding. George and Razz are class acts and are excellent to work with. Rather than write one long review, I will break it down into different sections and use the same five star rating for each: Explaining the different packages - initial meeting - 5 stars - excellent down to earth, professional. Pricing: 5 stars - George was not rigid and worked with us on the cost of photos, adding additional ones into our album, upgrading packages for videos. Costs of video and photography was very reasonable, much cheaper than other venues, and quality was excellent (with the exception of original video edit). Their timetable to pay for everything was fair as well, most wait day before the final wedding for final payment, if I recall we had to make a final payment within a month after. Pre-Wedding Shoot: 5 Stars: Razz and Vinnie were excellent. I hate taking photos, Razz made it so much fun and it showed in the photos. We went to a nice park by the water with trees. Poor Vinnie, Razz made him stand in bushes to get some of the shots. Wedding Photography: 4.5 - Our photographer was a class guy. Showed up on time at our hotel, even drove my wife to the wedding hall after car service was a no show. Overall he took great photos, especially the first look photos, tables, and was very creative in our family pictures, especially with our flower girls and ring bearer. A perfect grade was not given, because I felt a few of the ceremony photos were not clear. Additional Canvas and Two Large Photos: 5 stars - Excellent quality and great job with the shots they took and editing. Photo Album: 5 stars - great editing, pictures were excellent Videographer: At Actual Wedding 4 stars - He was not intrusive at all, was prepared for most of the key moments. There could have been slight improvement in the quality and interviews. DVD Quality: Original unedited: 4 stars - This consisted of most of the wedding, DVD was cleaned up entirely, though some scenes were cut I liked the product, so I worked out a deal to get the edited higher quality video. He also wood add trailers, photos of honeymoon and a few wedding pictures and songs. DVD Quality: Edited Version I: 2 stars. I reviewed with George and e-mailed the video guy of one part to cut entirely, edit the rabbi messing up my last name during the ketubah, and to edit into something more manageable. What I got back was almost the entire video unedited; yes two discs 4 plus hours, with just the edits (and bad edits as well). One interview was repeated, bread cutting intro cut and the chronology was off. The volume was still low and images not crisp. I called the videographer about the length; he told me to just fast forward it and the quality was good. I explained about the interview, he said he fix it. I requesting adding in a recap video (which I would provide on a external drive) done by the DJ (different vendor) because there was a significant gap - he started complaining. I told him the video needs to be edited down regardless, he became argumentative and was indicating it was extra work. I paid around 2 to 300 more for a good quality edited video, and he kept stating to look at the original video which he cleaned up for free and to fast forward it. I called George and Dave the boss of the video production took over. DVD Quality: Edited Version II: 5 stars. Dave did a fantastic job of editing, put in all my requests as well. Quality was excellent, edits did not see abrupt, pictures clear, sound great, shortened video to around 1 hour and 40 minutes, and was in communication with us of what scenes to not edit, montage of people dancing, splicing in our montage, placing in songs during recaps, and making it look truly professional. Web Services: 2.50 stars: Improvement is needed here. Cell phone used to look and select photos would not work and crash, even on desktop it was hard to manage photos, freezing up or having to reload pages. It was not easy in selecting and removing photos and keeping track. Timelines: 2.50 stars: Improvement needed. We followed the computer instructions in selecting and submitting photos for edits and re-edits, and choosing out larger photos. We never received responses of our selections and had to call constantly for it to get done. One time I called, prior to our honeymoon, and three weeks later nothing was done. We had to call twice more to get our photo process moving. Our photo album took almost a year to get ready. In summary I would recommend Cassarino - they provide a great product and staff is very friendly. Improvement is needed in utilizing web services and getting their products done timely. Also DVD services needs some adjustment. You want find much better class acts like George and Razz, who did follow up on issues, but kinks do need to be worked out. read more

Will not recommend this company. My sister and brother in law hired them for their wedding in august 2014 spent a LOT of money on the picture and video package. When they received the unedited video the taping was only the beginning of the party meaning they didn't include or cut out the surprise dance and the cake cutting also another traditional performs that was done! how is this possible ?! when we called the office to complain they said they will have their boss call us back which he NEVER did. after many calls they supposedly added the ending of the party but it was the same exact video! very unprofessional. The reason they were hired was to capture the memories! will not recommend or book again and until this day we have not heard back from Mr Big Razz. read more

Needed a photographer for a graduation/ family shoot. Raz met us at the school and he is AWESOME! Extremely personal, professional and funny. We never take pictures so we were a little awkward at first and he really made us feel comfortable. The pictures also came out amazing! Oh my god. Do not hire these people. I don't know why anyone would pay this company to do any wedding related photography or videography for them. Where do I start? 1- My proofs had maybe 5-10 good photos. No joke. Out of about 900 photos, most of them just sucked. And not to toot my own horn, but we are a good looking couple and bridal party. Here's an example: several of the photos had a van in the background. A van?!? 2- I'm approaching my 1 year wedding anniversary, and I still don't have my wedding album. I emailed several times to no avail. 3- The DVD that I received (6 months after my wedding) was defective and stopped playing 20 minutes in and I still don't have a new functioning one, which they had promised me 6 months ago. 4- The thank you cards that I ordered were printed on photo paper which had writing on the back of them detailing the amount of cards we ordered with our last name, which was spelled wrong! Nothing goes right with this company. There are so many other vendors on long island that will charge you less, and that will actually do a good job. Steer clear of this company. read more

Wedding are sensitive and personal moments which is why I am writing a review on all my wedding vendors for a Real/Cost Conscience Bride. Patience!!! Patience !!! This is a family business on long island they are excellent at their expertise in photography. However their back office is the downfall. Big Razz & L. Razz are excellent photographers but the again Sandy, George and whoever work in the back office are not equipped to handle the back office duties. They need to hire professional who have an interest in managing their clients expectation. Here is my experience: Engagement Photoshoot (B.Razz) received 11x14 in November after vising the office twice. Unedited DVD (met my video guy on wedding day, not good..never expressed my vision, I guess it was up to video guy) received in December, stopping working 45mins after going to the office and no one could find it, it was mailed to me.. Remember I said it stopped working after 45 mins right? My husband drove from BK to LI to get another one which had glitches but I finally got to the end (Overall did not like the video, horrible camera angles, but again I wasn't able to discuss prior to my wedding. Saved the best for last the photos are Good, The TY's are printed on photo paper BUT the website Cassarino uses for Couples is foto exchange is not compatible on iPhone/Android phones, the program seems VERY outdated. I can not skip to the end of the gallery, there almost always an error message in which the program reloads and starts at the beginning of 900+ photos...Remember I said Patience!! I hope some there read this and uses as tool to upgrade the quality/expectations for a couple especially when they paid in full. read more

BEWARE OF CASSARINO STUDIOS!! Terrible people, poor customer service, unethical and dishonest! If there are any other brides or families that had a bad experience with Cassarino Studios please post your concerns and do not let them continue to take advantage of people during such a vulnerable and joyous time. Cassarino Studios misled us into thinking our deposit money could have been applied towards any photo or video package as stated in their contract. They did not honor the terms of their contract. When we asked Cassarino Studios to either change our $4900 contract for a smaller photo package or apply our $1000 deposit money towards our video contract, they refused and did not honor the terms of contract. Their contract states: "In the event of a cancellation, all deposits will not be refunded but may be transferable to another contract with studio to original client for up to a year". Because we could not come to an agreement we ended up not using them as our wedding photographer/videographer, never received any of our $1000 deposit money back and were never offered any credit with the studio. Now, after we filed a formal complaint against them they are changing their story, stating that the contract clearly states we are entitled to use our deposit money towards another contract with the studio. This is AFTER they refused to honor their contract and AFTER our wedding had passed. In my opinion, that type of business practice is very dishonest and unethical. This company also claims to never have any problems with their customers in over 35 years. I find it hard to believe we are the first customers to have a problem with them especially after seeing the other complaints filed against them. read more

Horrible service. We never got to see our engagement photos until they were set up at our venue. The woman we dealt with (Sandy) was extremely rude to my wife and whwn my wife explained we never saw our engagement photos she called my wife a liar. Indeed they are the cheapest of the bunches, you get what you pay for. The photographer was decent and we did get some good pics but also took us a year and a half to receive our albums. read more

They are so patient and sooo kind. Good quality pictures with good quality service. Even though my party was a long time ago they still guaranteed me all the services we paid for. I thought we lost our contract after a busy year and five months but they were always ready for us. I really appreciate their work. The reason why I didn't give a full five stars is because my Dj's photographer was more aggressive in showing really cute poses for pictures than the photographer from the company. read more

My fiancé and I met with Little Razz for our Engagement Shoot at the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn. He was great! We helped us feel very comfortable and made it easy. He even coordinated with our busy schedules to accommodate our shoot on a Sunday evening. He sent us the photos within 48 hours as he promised. We just looked through the photos and were very pleased. Our wedding is in May 2016 and we look forward to working with Little Razz and Big Razz again! This review is subject to change as we haven't really received any physical photos or videos of our event. Booking was a piece of cake. No agendas or hidden fees. Everything that we were told so far has been the case. The photographer called me in advance to let me know what time he would be arriving (he arrived a bit earlier,which was cool with me). The photographers and videographers(not really a word) were great at the event. Allen was my wife's photographer as well as our main guy. Massimo was our secondary guy and the one who came to my(the groom) place. They were both great as far as I could tell. I cant remember the videographers name,but he was good as far as dealing with us and our huge wedding party. Hope that I don't have to amend this in a couple of months because the picture quality is crap or because they just wont give us our video. read more

My husband and I used Cassarino for our wedding and love all the products that we've received from them! With sooooo many photo options to choose from we didn't know where to begin! We absolutely love how our photo albums came out along with all the other included pictures that we received as part of our package! The folio was a major plus as many other photography companies don't offer this extra piece. We can't wait to display it on our living room shelf! Aside from the pictures, we can't stop watching our video! Dave made sure to edit all the most important moments into it! Every time we watch it, we feel like we're re living our wedding day! Right off the bat.. there's not enough stars here to rate cassarino studios the way I want. If I could give them 20 stars I would. I can't rave about them enough. Especially Razz. The second we met him we just clicked and I knew right away "this has to be my photographer for my wedding" and besides getting married to my husband... choosing cassarino studios was one of the best decisions I have EVER made. Our wedding was 7/15/17 Cassarino studios made our wedding an amazing experience. My husband and I did our engagement photos with Razz, who not only put me at ease, but also my husband. He is such a warm, genuine person. Dominic, Dave, and Razz were the photographers and videographer. They worked seamlessly together quilting our wedding into a wonderful master piece. My guest loved them, they were relatable to my family. Amazing with the bridal party, and super tolerant of my annoying ,elderly, amateur photographer uncle. I did get my album eventually... it took almost 2 years. The cover looked nothing like what I picked out and the printed colors on the inside were off as well. The only thing that was good about my photographer was that he was on time. Other then that like the previous review writer, if I could do it again I would have picked a different company. I only have one photo with my parents, none with my in laws and about 950 out of my 1000 proofs are of people dancing, not me and my husband. I will never be able to have the memories I picked I would have from one of the most important days of my life because I picked a bad company! GRRRRR. My husband and I interviewed 6 photography businesses that we met at a bridal showcase. After comparing prices and packages, we were sold with Cassarinos. They gave us the most for our money and their worked looked great. What's that old saying????? Oh yeah....you get what you pay for. I've never met a more unorganized business. After choosing my proofs I was told I would be contacted in 6 months. The months had passed and I called again. I was told I should be receiving a call within the next month. I gave them an extra month and called again. Someone finally returned my call and told me to come in to view the layout. I went in tonight and viewed the layout on there computer and had to ask for a few pictures to be brought closer. You would have needed a magnifying glass to see our faces. When I was done they tell me to choose my portraits on the spot. Why didn't you tell me to do that before I chose my pics for my album??????? I wasn't in the mindframe to choose photos! I ask can't you give me my proofs back so I can take my time and choose them at home? The answer was no! Not while my album was in production. How long will the production take I ask...20 weeks I'm told. WTF???????? By the time I get everything it will be past my 2 year anniversary. What do they care...they got their money up front. I'm a hairdresser and deal with alot of brides and none of my clients or my friends have waited over a year. I would not recommend them to any of my clients or friends. read more
