Compared to so many industrial style breweries this one stands out and caught our eye again. With more time this trip to New York to see family we made the trip back over to try their beers. When we arrived the owners were the only ones here. We checked over their beer list and I first tried their Raspberry Haze while my wife grabbed their Blueberry Cobbler. I thought both were great brews. We had a fantastic time talking about beer and loads of other topics with the owners. You could tell they have a passion for creating craft beer and running their small business brewery! Also despite being opened for 9 years the inside is so nice and clean you'd think it was a recently opened spot. Because we are far from home we needed to try a couple more beers so I got their Latitude 18 (tropical wheat ale) and my wife got the Sinful Snap (spiced amber ale) and these two were fantastic as well. This is a spot worth making a trip for, not just for the delicious beers but also to meet the owners. A brewery we will make a trip to when we are back up in this area for sure!

The set up is great, they have a big beautiful outdoor patio area as well as a couple seats inside. It looks like they probably do a lot of fun events here, sadly we didn't get to find out. She was really friendly and talked to us about the different beers they brew and the styles and flavors to expect. It is cool how each beer and label pays tribute to the land and history around them. I had the Barracks Black and I can't recall the beer my wife got but I think it was an amber ale of sorts. Both were good. I really enjoyed the black and we ended up buying some to take home with us. It was really nice that the staff let us hang out for a bit and enjoy the beer even though it was after closing.

During inclement weather, the music moved to a local restaurant that's close by. This micro-brewery shares space with the King's Lock Distillery (reviewed separately). Our daughter loved the tractors and that she was allowed to play on them. Beer selection was pretty good, though I was hoping for something darker. Their artwork on the beer labels is pretty good, made it pretty tempting to buy a shirt. We got an amber and a Juiced AF. Both were quite good, perfect for the warm weather. Owners and staff are fabulous - down to earth, hospitable, and willing to offer advice on beer. Check out the merchandise section, there's some fun merch in there. Great venue for a concert. Sound was great, seating comfortable and easy to hear everything. We tried the oatmeal stout and the west coast IPA, both excellent.

We can buy their beers in numerous stores now but a trip to the brewery is worth it, they are very generous with the free samples so you are certain to bring home something you like. It's inconspicuous, but just hip enough to keep the beer brewing and the crowds satiated. It's a humble operation, but their limited business hours mean they're always busy. Don't worry, there's not a long wait to grab a beer (or four). They also sell a boatload of merch - hats, shirts, glasses. Great gifts for the craft beer lover in your life. Keep an eye out for the car-lined street and the big red barn; when you see those two things, you'll know you made it.
