In January, I boarded my pitbull Zeus who is 5 years at Echo Lane. I've wanted to work with them for a little while now. Anytime I've previously tried working with them they I would leave multiple voicemails and call attempts to reach someone. They are not even a mile away from me and was the only place I knew of instead having to go to Manchester to board my pit. Eventually after multiple call attempts; I finally got a return call and scheduled my dog to be boarded there. He was super excited and I felt they were quick and easy to work with when boarding him; so I thought. When it came time to pick him up; Zeus was excited to see me and they gave me the lease and off they thought I went. Upon getting Zeus in my car I noticed his nose was bloodied up so I went back inside kindly asking for an explanation and a call from a manager. A day when by and no call; so I reached out myself and no call back. I ended up having to physically go back there in which their explanation was he tried to get out of kennel and broke the fence. I was not disturbed that we were going to let me take my dog home without telling me any issues; but that I had no even received a call from them when any of this took place. They offered to get oinment for him and meet me somewhere so I can pick it up. They did do that; there was no follow up call on how he was. After telling some of my friends this and showing them a picture of the alleged incident I was informed that the way the fence was pushed out there is no way Zeus would have done that and that it looked like a very old fence. Time passed by; and I needed to board my dog again and I called them and left multiple voicemails again. At this point; I wanted to forget and forgive, whatever happened I understand dogs will be dogs and surely since they have a kennel they would be trained for any kind of situation for a dog and that maybe they would make sure to not let history repeat itself. In a way they kinda did! After multiple calls and voicemails to give them a second chance at my business; I ended up texting one of the owners and eventually they told me without explanation they would not allow Zeus back at the Kennel. Not only did I feel they were extremely unprofessional; but I do feel they are not trained nor qualifed to watch dogs. If my dog truly bit his way out of the kennel as they claim it makes me believe they leave other dogs in there for an extended period of time and that this isn't their first rodeo of having an issue with a dog. If there was an actual issue with Zeus and that there's more to the story; they failed in being upfront and honest with me. If that's the case; they lack true customer service and lack any honest business morals. I wish Google reviews would allow me to post the pictures, but they don't provide a link. I did find a couple other local kennels that have been more than accommodating towards me and if they can't board him because of space they refer someone who will as well. If you're looking to board your dog check out peace and paws or paws on pine. Beware of this place; also keep in mind for dog owners who feed their dogs organic dog food or raw dog food. Echo lane kennel does not offer that kind of food and therefore you will need to bring your dogs food. They offer kibbles and bits and Purina which have been proven to be very bad for dogs.

I trusted this facility to care for my two family members while I took my children on vacation…read more Within three hours of being at the facility, my 2 year old Maltese was brought outside WITHOUT a leash. She got loose and was lost in the woods for two full days. My dog sustained injuries to her leg, paws, and belly. The owner claims my 6 lb. dog bit her husband, which resulted in him dropping her. If you look at the pictures of this man, you have to laugh. Again, my dog weighs 6 lbs. She is terrified of everything, which I'm sure her searchers can attest to. She has never bitten anyone before, and she certainly didn't bite any of the heroes who brought her home. Furthermore, I brought two leashes to this facility, and neither was used. Thanks to the kindness of strangers, my dog was found. The owner did not apologize once for putting my dog in extreme danger, ruining our vacation, and causing my family extreme stress. She also has not contacted me to find out how the dog is doing. If she disputes anything I have said above, I have the text messages to prove that everything I have written is true. This facility should be shut down. No one family should have to go through what we have experienced. The only good thing to come out of this is the realization that there are angels everywhere. Complete strangers worked relentlessly to bring my dog home. For that, I am eternally grateful.

They used to go to my parents but I've accrued to many dogs for them to take them all! I appreciated that the owners also own a veterinary practice, training services, and live on property. The latter is very important to me. I found the pricing to be affordable. They were very friendly and accommodating overall. I made a few changes with no hassle. When I got there, they let me take a tour on demand to see how the kennels were (which I thought were nice). I was able to leave their special toys. I chose not to bring food as they provide it as well if you want. They also provide the bedding. All of the notes I provided via e-mail and verbally were obviously taken into account from feedback when I returned. My dogs were having some problems with each other the week prior and they were careful about keeping them in separate kennels and giving them supervised play time together. 3 people helped me check out and they were all very knowledgeable about the dogs individually which made me feel like they were cared for well. I returned early and called to alert them with an hour notice that I was coming to pick them up sooner. They quickly gave them their baths before I got there...which must've been quite a task to do 2. I feared my boys would have been unhappy because of separation anxiety and my past experiences with other dogs were that they'd come home thinner as a result (not a reflection on the caretakers, just the anxious dog). But they were definitely fed and had eaten their treat toys.
