Nice little cabins in a beautiful location. Kitchens are fully stocked with plates, equipment and glassware. Large refrigerator. Several beds and a washer and dryer. Sitting on the aged house decks and soaking up the view is the attraction here.
But there are some caveats. The worst is the train. Diesel trains come through at all different hours of the day and night. The tracks are so close to the cabins that it's a real atmosphere spoiler. They make talking difficult and shake the rooms.
Next is the Wi-Fi, it is pretty bad. It's got a short reach so you can disconnect in the rooms easily. There is no cell service. For some that's an advantage, for others it's not. We were also asked to put our phones on airplane mode if we didn't need to access the Wi-Fi because it uses up their satellite data. Not really my problem.
And lastly, the taps are connected to a creek and the water is discoloured. They provide bottled water, however.
If these points don't bother you, you should be pretty happy. It's a unique location. read more
