I wish I'd been traveling like this to Vancouver and the island always, it's so convenient! For a little less than you'd spend traveling by car, and for wayyyy less time, you can get from Prince Rupert to the island. Instead of a flight, and trying to pack everything into one or two bags, you can take your whole car stuffed full and your pup. Hello Costco run! I loved my first overnight and drive on experience. Spending 18-20 hours not driving was excellent for starting vacation and for ending it. We had a room, got to visit our pup every couple hours, and even had some gluten free food options from the cafe. Overall, something I'd do again and absolutely will recommend to others. read more
