I made contact with one of the major agency in Arlington and we talked about what this would entail. The agent told me with the way the economy was and the housing market being somewhat depressed that we need to price the house below market value and be prepared for it to be on the market somewhere between 60 and 90 days. The day we were to meet with the agent and sign the contract, my aunt call me and said she had heard of a company called the Real Estate Connection owned by Sharon Carman who had sold a home in two days. Without any further discussion my aunt decided we should use Sharon. We met with Sharon and signed the contract. I was thinking to myself that there is no way you can sell a house in two days. Well I was right she didn't sell it in two days, it took a four whole days to sell the house. Not only that but we received full asking price. Sharon has a different approach in selling a home. It's something unique in today's business world. It's called customer service. It was about as stress free experience as you can have selling a home. She staged the home so that it would show better, she located and negotiated with contractors to take care of what repairs that were needed and assisted us with any and all issues in the selling of a home. Horrible service!! We paid 2 application fees. Almost 2 weeks went by with no response. I called,…read moreleft voicemails and emailed. No one answers the phone or responds to email. I finally saw on online that my application had been canceled. I located the office and went to it in person. The person that was there did not handle applications and could not help me. He did give me the # of his sister Shannon and said she could help me. It took me awhile to get in touch with her. She said that my application was put "on hold" due to the fact that someone had signed a lease while they were waiting on "requested information" from us. Through their 'Chat" system they requested our paystubs. I had the requested paystubs to them with 30 minutes of request. She then said we could put our applications toward another property. They have less than 20 to choose from and only one would possibly work for us, but it was currently occupied and not available for touring. I watched closely and when it was available I contacted her. She informed me that John was putting the lockbox on it and gave me his #. I called him He did answer and said that he hadn't put the lock box on yet but to call him later that day, I did but no answer. I tried for a few more days to call him, plus calling the office and leaving messages. At this point, I am done and will call it a loss on our $100
