Excellent menu and very friendly service! Food is consistently delicious and is authentic Mexican! Wonderful ambience and outside tables under umbrellas ! Castenadas is our favorite Mexican eatery!

Shrimp tacos were delicious - shrimp cooked to perfection. Service was great. BYOB location. They ran out of avocados and guacamole - big disappointment that is one of the reason we picked Mexican for dinner.

Cute little town but huge on the flavor!!! We ate a huge early lunch today but got hungry for dinner. Mexican sounded good. Castanedas is legit! First you get complementary chips with their delicious salsa!! A smooth salsa with a bit of a peppery bite. It's not hot at all.... It's delicious!! I love enchiladas verde!! They had a special today- enchiladas suizas. I got the chicken. It came smothered in a tomatillo sauce that makes your mouth water!!! I ate so many chips because the salsa was so good that I was only able to eat a small portion of my enchiladas!! No worries they are coming home with me!!! My GF ordered chicken fajitas. They came out sizzling on the platter!! The portions were huge!! We both left with enough for another meal!! The service was good... young kids but they were polite. It was a gorgeous evening so we sat outside in the courtyard. Perfect experience and end to the evening!!! Definitely give them a try!!! They seem to do a great takeout business as well if you don't have time to sit and enjoy!!

Excellent Mexican in scenic downtown Denver! Menu has all the staples you'd expect, but nothing exotic. Chips and salsa are spot on- thick salsa- and our dinners- tacos al pastor, steak tacos for the kids, and an enchiladas verde- were fantastic. Service was friendly, glasses were kept full, and portions were decent. Owner is quite gregarious, moving about the patrons and chatting it up. Prices were all in the $10 or less range for our selections. Great addition to northern Lanco, one which will now rival the previously uncontested La Borimex. Let the battle of Los Luchidoros begin!

The food and service is always tops. Never disappointed on what we order. Don't let the small place in Denver, PA scare you away.

Beef Chimichanga good, but just straight up ground beef with minimal flair. Enjoyed Shrimp Chimichanga more since it was creamier & texture interrupted by chunky shrimp & bell pepper. What blew me away was menu item I generally have no use for- Tortilla soup. (Not a fan of soggy chips floating in broth). This was fantastic! Flavorful broth with diced tomato, a ball of soft, creamy, cheese, a sunken bed of rice, & fried tortilla strips that were soft but still had texture. Everything here is just a bit muted. You won't find strong flavors or lots of heat (the locals would never go for it) but food has fresh, homemade, simplicity that scratches the itch. Fried ice cream is a nice finish. Wait staff is young family that takes pride in delivering food to your table. A happy addition to the zip code & maybe the only Latin food for miles.

Very simple to get to and quite a decent amount of parking. I went on a Saturday Afternoon and it wasn't too busy at all, but it should be with how amazing the food is! Vibes were pretty dope. Lots of outdoor seating and some music playing. Ordered the Pernil Arepa, Chicken Rice Bowl, and Pulled Pork Rice Bowl. If you're afraid of flavor, this is not for you, because the flavors were amazing! And you can customize your bowls with add one to your liking such as roasted corn, avocado, cheese, plantains and more! Loved it and will definitely make it part of my itinerary whenever I'm in the area.

The food is a delicious mix of Peruvian and Venezuelan flavors, and you can really taste the freshness and quality in every bite. Their arepas are crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with flavorful fillings. Everything felt comforting yet unique at the same time. One thing I really appreciated is that the entire menu is 100% gluten free, but honestly, you wouldn' even notice because the food is just that good. Also, don't be deceived if the food doesn't look super "picture perfect" online or in photos (or at least my photos lol). It may not be the most photogenic food, but it's sooo worth it! I actually ordered almost everything on the menu because I had no idea when I'd be back in Lancaster again . My favorite was the fried rice with chicken and plantains, so flavorful and satisfying! My husband's favorite was the Lomo Saltado Bowl and Pernil Arepa. We also loved the yuca fries, which were perfectly crispy without being overly greasy. The only thing that disappointed me a little was the Esquites. It just didn't stand out and probably wouldn't order it again. Parking is limited and there's outdoor seating only.
