Dr castellon is so incredibly kind. He was helpful, understood that I don't want a big solution now and how a little win right now can help me keep going. I was so incredibly happy after our consult. Then I went to see his care coordinator. She told me the price of lipo + renuvion for 360 and arms plus implants would be $55,000. This is SO much higher than anywhere else. He also charges a planning fee of $2,500, which no other surgeon charges. When I balked at the price, she said "why don't we pull up your pictures while we talk about this". This felt like an attempt to body shame someone into spending $55k on a surgery, which I find DISGRACEFUL. When I called her out on it, she said she was going to show me where the implants would go (and here I thought they went in the thighs?) and then said it wouldn't really be me, just a stimulated body. Yes, she said stimulated, repeatedly. By the time we left, it was $50,000 and she stated that it was never 55, despite two of us having seen her screen. After we left, the office manager called and apologized, then said we could work on the price. She repeatedly reiterated that Dr. Castellon is triple board certified and that is why his price is so high. The American Board of Medical Specialties says that he is board certified as a plastic surgeon. The American Board of Cosmetic Surgery does not have a record of Dr. Castellon, nor does The American Board of Surgeons. I'm not questioning his abilities, as it is clear that he is a skilled surgeon (check out his before and afters). However, the accrediting boards that provide the typical certifications do not corroborate this statement. If you combine the facility fee, anesthesia fee, planning fee, and surgeon fee for breast implants it would be $20,000. Their website says that breast surgery ranges from $5,000 to $10,000 depending on if you need a lift or not. I understand this was published five years ago, but the price of implants has not doubled in five years. It is a massive shame what seems like an incredible appointment with an amazing surgeon turned into a timeshare style nightmare. read more

It is now been over two years since my surgery with dr. Castillon. I could tell right away that something was not healing right with my left breast after my breast augmentation surgery,. It was extremely sagging and and hurt much worse than the other. He told me it was the muscles and I needed to let it heal. I was suggested by friends that it wasn't healed in the "pocket" correctly or wasn't placed in the same spot as the other. At my one year appointment I brought up my concern again, and he said to wait and it can still take more time to heal. At my two-year appointment follow up he did not even show up! I brought the concern again and they offered to fix it, saying they would have Dr. Castillo reach back out and they were thanking me for not going to a different doctor and being patient with the healing process to rule out everything else. Keep in mind when I was going to my consolations and everything they said if anything was wrong with them that they would fix it immediately and they had 100% satisfaction guarantee to their clients. Agter that 2 year follow up this point, he did a video call back because he did not think he had to be present for my two year follow up and I told him it was still affecting me and hurting, and the muscle still does not heal. At this point after my research, it seems that my breast wasn't in the pocket hence why it was moving and slowly lowering. They offered to redo the breast saying I would not have to pay for his services, but yet the total cost and if adding up to be almost the same as my original surgery. I am now going onto almost 3 years and am extreme pain still. At this point, I'm just saving up for a real surgeon to come and fix the problem he created. Staying local was not worth this. Between the pain and the bad placement I am more self-conscious of my body than I was before the surgery. This doctor will gaslight you into thinking, it is just you. Don't fall for his great sales techniques and his sales presentation. I should have known it was a red flag when you don't get your deposit back for your consultation but his pitch was so good and he seemed so confident. read more

Dr. Castellon is a fraud, a swindler who lies to patients and promises to do surgeries knowing the results will not be what the patient expected. Furthermore, Dr. Castellon requires a 50% deposit up front. I paid the 50%, and the assistant said that if the surgery is canceled, there would be a 50% fee on the refund. Today, I called about getting my refund, and Jenna told me "no refunds on deposits." That is criminal. I am going to sue Dr. Castellon in Small Claims Court for nonfulfillment of services and for deception. read more

JUST AN UPDATE... I was in this office 1 year ago... after many frustrating visits and a conversation with the doctor I agreed to remove the 1st review below. Because he apologized, but I regret that decision since now 1 year later and I do not see any improvements in my body. In fact, I have been dealing with many health issues since that surgery. I didn't get not one call after the surgery or throughout the recovery process. I totally regret my rushed decision to pick this clinic. If you have time do your research and find another place that value their patients and their health. PLEASE DO SO!! If you are looking for a caring and excellent customer service stay away from this clinic. I wish I would of done more research before choosing Dr. Castellon. I'm very disappointed with the customer service provided. Right at the initial visit Dr Castellon made me wait for 2hrs, not sure why I didn't see that as clue of disregarding to his patients. Barbara the patient care coordinator told me "time is money" , another clue that they are not focus in providing good services, but profit and move to the next vulnerable person. The day of my operation the surgery center staff complained to me that Dr. Castellon are always late for surgeries. Then he to showed up 45 minutes late from the scheduled time. That is unacceptable!!! He barely spoke with me at the surgery center. I felt very sad and I truly regret my decision at the time. But I have already paid super higher price then normal for these kind of procedures. Believing I was going to get an excellent care, instead I have felt neglected and mistreated as nobody from this clinic called or provided guidance after this very major surgery. Only the surgery center called. All my visits were very quick with very minimal instructions on how to keep myself safe from an infection. My first post appointment with drains and walking curved I had to seat outside the office with one of their assistants until some one showed up 15 minutes late to open the clinic. This shows the late culture is rubbing off on the staff as well. Then on 40 days post appointment Dr Castellon was late another 40 minutes. When he finally arrived and was able to see me, he lectured me on how he was giving attention to his other patients, yet totally disregarding me as his patient once again. He didn't even exam my neck lipo and barely looked at my abdominalplasty incision and the flank lipo. Which it doesn't seem like it got done. He answered my question as he walked out the door. Tried to run out as quick as possible and offer me a facial for the waiting.... was he joking???? I was shocked!!! I think I can afford a facial if I wanted one. Also, recommending virtual follow ups, what kind of excellent care they promised while trying to sale me their services??? I had to ask about the lymphatic drainage and they referred a lady, who doesn't even provide a service. She allows other people to use her space to provide substandard services. What a waste of time and money. Thank god I found a great therapist with 14 years of experience that helped me throughout this healing process. I don't feel like I got the services I paid for. I visited Dr Castellon in tears about something that I needed a repair due to cruel comments I been told about a physical aspect I had. I needed to fix this so very bad, and he knew what I wanted to achieve. He acted like he could fix this, and he understood of the result what I was expecting. However, after two botched attempts with no result as he knew exactly what I was wanting. I asked for him to fix the issue. He stated he would contact his colleagues. I have never heard back from him.. I wasted alot of money without any result. I have been to many plastic surgeons and have never been treated so disrespectfully. I am so upset to not have any result nor any contact by him. I never expected to pay money without any result. I did tell him any other plastic surgeons I have ever had any work done if I was not satisfied with the result, they would do everything to correct the issue. I went to Dr Castellon in Jan of 2019 for breast reconstruction. It should have been a 2 operation and finish in 6 months but took him 6 operations and almost 2 years. Infections were the first problems (which he didn't look at cultures for 4 days so I was in the wrong antibiotic for those extra days). Gave me a hematoma (which an infectious disease Dr had to tell me about and Castellon said he knew I had already). He popped an expander. Put an additional scar on me that he didn't tell me he was going to put so I'm cut across and under both breasts. Off center cleavage which he said he would fix but didn't. Then after the final surgery when I questioned him on what to expect, he literally cussed me out. Told me I was turning into a cosmetic B*#ch and I need to stop busting his F#€%ing balls. Talk about surprised! Not even two days out of surgery and to be treated like this?! He has issues. I pray anyone seeing him goes for a second opinion. read more

I had a bad reaction to laser treatment and when I went into the office, I was recommended a skin brand that one of the estheticians knew because she used to work with the owner. So, I reached out to my dermatologist in New York City and got a skin-lightening cream to treat the hyperpigmentation. I asked for a refund for the remaining 3 sessions as I can't do them due to the scars. Although the scars are improving, it will take some time to return to normal. During my appointment today, Castellon suggested that I wear pants and jeans (despite the hot weather in Florida) and asked me to schedule another appointment in March. However, I received no help for the scarring and they refused to refund me as they have to wait for Castellon's decision. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and will be filing one with the Florida Attorney General. If my refund is not issued, I must escalate the matter through other legal options. read more

I met Dr Castillion over 4 months ago after I was recommended by my PCP for breast reduction surgery. When I first met him I was very impressed by his caring and gentle bedside manor. He was very knowledgeable and spent time answering all of my questions. His office staff are all Professional and friendly as well as caring and helpful and made me feel comfortable every time I came in to his office. I did extensive research to find Dr. Castellon and I had high hopes of being small chested after years of being very big chested with lots of pain. My only concern was for the pain to go away and to have the smallest boobs I could have. I am only 2 weeks post surgery so I can't attest to how they look but the neck pain is gone. Dr. Castellon has the best bed side manner, the softest touch and he is very genuine and sweet. I can say my boobs are small which I'm very happy with and Dr. Castellon did exactly what I asked for. I WOULD NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT GOOD RESULTS. I went in to have skin cancer removed from my face a little over a year ago. Dr Castelon told me it would be minimal scaring and the internal stitches would disolve or be pushed out within 6 months. I still have a nasty scar on my face, there is bunching (a puffy spot) at both ends of the incision and the stitches took a year and a half before they stopped coming out. When a friend heard I was going to him she advised me not to because he screwed up her surgeries. It also took them 4 months to get the billing code right so that my insurance would cover it. I had to call my insurance and explain the reason for going to a plastic surgeon in order to get it approved. read more

Reception staff is discourteous and unprofessional. I filled out paperwork for a complementary consultation. The paperwork includes a privacy policy form but they don't provide the policy and when asked for they say they have no copies. When I told the scheduler, Monica, I'd give them my ID after the consult if I decide to become a patient she told me they would cancel the appointment if I would not give up my ID for a copy. I told she could look at it to verify my identity but she told me without a copy my appointment was canceled. Then she refused to give me the paperwork with my personal information on it telling me that the paper was their property. She agreed to shred it in front of me. I left the office bothered that my time was wasted but glad I'd avoid future contact with that staff. The doctor might be a decent surgeon but his staff's professionalism is subpar. read more
