They replanted up to her neighbor but told her they wouldn't replant behind her house. My ask is that they plant 3 or 4 trees back there to replace the dozens they cut down to build their flower shop. My mom had asked several years ago and they said no, made an excuse. Recently visited for a funeral visitation and service…read more There were two areas for guests for the visitation. A couch, and chairs on one corner, a couch by another areas. I ended up standing for over an hour right by the guest sign-in book. The screen across from the large couch scrolled through selected family photos. There was a closet for coats. Another larger room set up with chairs for the scripture readings. The first room upon entry was a big room and conducive for standing, since there wasn't a lot of seating. I was glad I had come during a time with less people. The staff were buzzing around and at some point had to interrupt conversations to round up the siblings ahead of the readings.

My mom and I had arranged for her prepaid funeral and the sales director lead us through the process answering any questions or concerns. So when her time came, the funeral home was right on top of everything. My siblings and I only had to meet with Cheyenne once where she covered the things they would need for mom. She asked for details and memories of our mom's life some of which she picked up on while we were reminiscing on mom between the siblings. The obituary that Cheyenne wrote was good, if not even better, than what we could have done. The day of the visitation, the lovely receptionist went way beyond and entertained my small nieces and nephews. She accommodated us with every request or question. The refreshments were great to have so no one had to leave if they were hungry. The day of the funeral was handled with such care and concern for our mom and family. No detail was overlooked or missed. The pastor who lead the service was so compassionate and talked about mom with a loving insight. The cars in funeral procession where given flags and traffic was cleared by their employees. At graveside the pastor prayed for our mom. And Cheyenne instructed us to what to expect or do. Mon laid to rest by her beloved husband, our dad. The following luncheon after was held at the funeral home. The staff did everything to see we were taken care of. The food was good and plenty of it. Jeff helped us with every detail, making an overwhelming process manageable. He guided us in selecting a casket that perfectly reflected my dad's patriotism and provided recommendations for the funeral literature that suited him flawlessly. He walked us through options between a flag or a casket spray, patiently explaining each choice. He helped suggest options for suitable pallbearers (we chose to have the grandkids serve as pallbearers) Jeff meticulously handled every aspect of my dad's military grave marker, ensuring all details were correct and following up with its installation. He assisted in creating a funeral timeline that accommodated everything we needed to consider during a holiday weekend and helped us finalize our luncheon plans, guiding us on attendees. I could go on and on. Here's a perfect example of Jeff's attitude. When I presented him with an excessively large slideshow for the funeral (2000 photos) which was taking forever to download, he responded with a reassuring "I've got this, don't worry about a thing" attitude. Even when the grave marker arrived with a typo--through no fault of his own--he had already submitted the correction to the government agency before informing us. His dedication went above and beyond our expectations. I think most notably, Jeff's availability was remarkable; he was there for us at every turn, promptly returning our calls and ensuring all our requests were granted. This was the first funeral I have ever planned, so you can imagine what a relief it was to have him be so responsive with the many questions I had. And when I say he returned calls promptly, it was usually within minutes. His genuine care made us feel a deep sense of trust and bonding with him. Additionally, the entire staff's warmth deserves special mention, particularly the two front door hostesses who became like family during the service. Their genuine compassion and warmth added another layer of comfort to an emotionally challenging day. During life's hardest moments, having someone like Jeff in your corner makes all the difference.
