Take away the hype and the price and it's 5 stars…read more BUT the hype is all you hear about - best burger in NYC. Impossible to book reservations. Yadda yadda I snagged a reservation. People line up before opening to get on the waitlist but they all got seats. Show up at 130 after the 12pm rush on the weekends and you have a great shot. We got a table right away and didn't have to wait. Decent menu but the prices reflect its popularity Best item we ate - French onion soup. Delicious. Rich. Cheese was all melted against the side of the bowl. This was perfectly salty and cheesy. The definition of French onion soup. $18 - pricy. But tasty Next best - Reuben. Perfectly done. Crisp. Savory. Covered in sauce Okay finally the burger Was it a good burger absolutely. It was thick, juicy and perfectly cooked. The semi cooked onion added to the flavor and I can see why it hyped up. BUT $34 FOR A BURGER?!? When you take the price into consideration, I don't think it's worth it. The burger is solid, but not for that amount of money The thing that surprise me was the French onion soup and the service which was almost Michelin level. Cables were cleared quickly, they wiped down the tables in between each course. I would come back on a winter day to get the soup and maybe another item off the menu.

This is a hot take but I will say the $24 Ruben here is better than the $34 dry age burger. However, I will say the burger was also pretty good as well. We got the burger medium rare. It was very juicy when bitten into. Service was a little bit mediocre given they were trying to move people in and out as fast as possible. Great casual spot. Typically they say that it is only reservations and the walk-in list is for if they are cancellations only. We were very fortunate in being able to have walked in and gotten a spot.

Tiny little place, lightly decorated with Mexican themes. Came here based on Yelp's high ratings…read moreand it certainly lived up to praise. If you're looking for fanfare, this ain't the place. But if you're looking for some excellent, straight forward, wonderfully crafted simplicity, this is in your wheelhouse. A quesadilla is a quesadilla, a hamburger a hamburger. Sounds boring? Not when your hamburger and quesadilla are amongst the best you've ever had at any diner, anywhere. Our waitress was very nice and allowed us to dine, unbothered. We ordered a fresh fruit platter for dessert. It included watermelon, mango, grapes, apples, strawberries, etc. very nice, well presented. The dining area certainly belies what happens in that kitchen behind the door. I'll be back to try some more simple, but excellent food.

We were staying in the neighborhood and trying to find a spot within walking distance for dinner…read more After wandering around for awhile, we landed on Jey Diner after walking past. This spot has a handful of tables and while we were there, quite a few to-go orders were picked up as well. Though we were the only diners, so I assume it's more of a breakfast/brunch spot. The menu is rather expansive with options from breakfast to lunch and dinner. After studying the menu, we opted for the Veggie Burger and the Meatball Parm Po'Boy. Our food was ready in about 20 minutes, which seemed a little long as we were the only diners, but we were not in a rush so it was fine. As the restaurant was unassuming, I honestly had pretty low expectations, but we both really enjoyed our meals. It was definitely large portions and really flavorful. My fiance said the Meatball Parm Po'Boy was delicious and I appreciated that the veggie burger seemed to be made in house as it was falling apart (in a good way) and you could distinguish some of the veggies. I ended up only eating about half of my burger and took the rest for lunch the next day and it held up well.

I feel like I am with my Italian friends and family in Corona,NY. There is nothing but love in all three restaurants. They have everything covered. The staff are a beautiful group of "International", young people. The tastes of the food and the creativity, blew my mind. The Crab Cakes are the best I have ever had! Food wise, Bayridge rivals Manhattan. The female staff made me fall in love! They make this old man feel special. Drinks are awesome and inventive.

The fried calamari could've been less oily, as this took away from the crunch; also slightly overcooked. Baked clams were decent. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Pizza was great! They reheated for us, since our group was too busy chatting. Desserts - phenomenal! Drinks- ehh. Brunch menu - French toast was decent. The salmon over hash brown , was lacking a touch of something , couldn't pinpoint what was lacking. Chicken and waffles, decent, wasn't the best I've had. Service- jonathan was our waiter during brunch and also our bartender. He's GREAT! During service dinner, we had a female waitress and I felt she lacked attention to details and couldn't flag her down when we wanted something. Overall, service is a hit or miss , I guess? If you're looking for an intimate dinner, nope. Love their vibes and music playing in the background. You might need to "shout"'to hear
