I left my seats and back seat arm rests at there shop to have them upholstered. Jr doubled the price right before I was going to have them done. I told him you are double the price what 2 other shops told me. He said we have to much business so we raised prices. Then I said ok I need to pick up my seats then.Then 2 weeks later Jr calls me and said they were gone and did not know what happened to them. Then a week later JR Castillo informed me that his dad was getting senile and threw them away. These are 1940 Dodge sedan seats that are very rare. They refused to pay me or use there insurance to pay for the lose of my seats and arm rest. I filed a felony police report with Modesto city. Now I have to take them to court. Very unprofessional and rude. No upholstery company should throw people seats away. Buyer beware use another company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I was directed by Steve and Jeff at Escalon Body to this place and finding it was a bit hard since they are really not on 3rd but the alley behind it. I was a bit worried about this place until I got a look at what they did there. A Mercedes S550 was being repaired and I could not tell where Mercedes started and Castillo's work ended. Beautiful work. I had a rip in a seat on my 2008 Honda and thought I was going to spend a lot to get it just fixed. When they got done it was a work of art. The cost was very reasonable and the work is beyond great. Taking a plain stock seat and turn it into one that is closer to a high end horse saddle than a simple seat was beautiful. This place is no joke! I've been fixing up my old truck for the kids to drive... Because it's a truck, the side of the driver's seat was all torn and shredded. I pulled the cover off the seat and took just that down to Casillo's on a Saturday morning. $40 and 1 hour later I had a perfectly fixed seat cover. It's like 1998 all over again. I killed an hour by going to Joann's fabrics to find headliner fabric... of course they did not have the color I needed. But when I went back to Castillo's to get the seat, guess who had the headliner fabric... Yep! Bought that too. These guys are awesome! read more

took my car in running and some joker at the shop messed up the stick shift, wiring and alot of the wiring was dismantled, they cliamed they never touched it, but the car was running in top condition when it went in; beware of taking your car to this shop, they are not honesty and don't communicate questions to the owner of the vehicle. They never call back to give information either, so you never know where you stand with these guys! I had my daughters door panels re-done here - 2007 Mustang. The previous attempts to repair the doors panels were unsuccessful, granted, not an easy job. Castillo inspected the panels and gave me a reasonable estimate - they beat other upholsterer's so I decided to give them a try. The results were amazing - looks better than factory and I'm very pleased with the work. They had a difficult time removing one of the door lock pins and refunded me enough to cover a new pair. Very honest, hard working professionals. I will be a repeat customer and happy to recommend them to anyone. read more

We just got hosed by these guys. Our dog chewed up one of our leather car seats and both front headrests. They gave us a quote, we brought in the seat and headrests. My husband paid them and brought the items home. I wish I had been with him. I can't believe he even accepted them, and I'm just as mad at him as I am at Castillo's, but you can't leave a review for husbands! The work is a nightmare. Worst job I've EVER seen. Each headrest has at least four significant rips in them. They told my husband they had to rip them to fit. None of the seams on the seat even come close to matching....an inch or more off center. I am sick at the thought that I just threw all this money right down the drain. How the hell they got all those five-star reviews is beyond me. I guess they got a good laugh at our expense. read more

Don't bother with these guys. They tore the side trim off my car and glued it back . They didn't even tell me about it. I would have said accidents happen and fixed it myself but after I got it home the heat made the trim start sliding off and leaving the black glue all over the place. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I asked if they could repair a seam on an expensive tent on an area about three inches that a rat had chewed up. They said they could. They patched in a "seam piece" and one side of the hole was repaired and left the other side open. I told them that I could have done a better job at home myself. read more
