I told her I was driving, in a rush, and couldn't review documents. She said they were only for verification, so I trusted her and agreed. Within 3 business days, I called back for confirmation and was told I had been enrolled in a credit repair program instead. We don't have a COO, the address on the contract wasn't ours, and it wasn't the signature of any of our employees. He sounded gruff, and frankly drunk, on the phone. I'm sharing this out of caution but also concern that if Mr. Martin indeed has a drinking problem, help is available. But he shouldn't act/behave this way on the job. I will be following up with a bar complaint (as in the legal association, not the places that sell alcohol) but I hope that the bar can get him help if he needs it.
