I feel like Montway was a bit deceptive in the quote however. The initial quote was raised because the car was "modified", but in reality it had been stretched 1.5 ft in the front. This was not an issue for the transport, as the driver had a trailer that hauled 2-3 vehicles. Montway rep said on the phone that $200-$300 would be charged to my credit card and the rest would go to the driver, and I received an email stating that $1370 would be owed to the driver on delivery. In reality, Montway charged my card $499, and sent another email stating to only pay the driver $1,100, which I did, but it felt deceptive. I am guessing that Montway got a way better deal from the driver than they anticipated, and instead of passing some of that saving on to me, or explaining, they just charged my card double what the rep said they would and kept all of the profit. Also, the rep promised tracking, which never happened - we had to call the driver a couple of times to find out the delivery time, because he hit traffic (which I understand he cannot control) and got held up by a couple of hours. All in all, it is done, but Montway didn't leave the best impression overall as a transport broker. Grateful I had a better driver than some of these other reviews...

On Monday, June 15th, 2026, at 7:59AM PST time, I sent a cancellation request on my outlook email as specified exactly in there terms and condition as followed to the email of info@montway.com. Section 9: c. Cancellation of an Order by Customer must be submitted in writing via email sent to info@montway.com. Cancellations made via telephone, text, chat or any other medium will not be accepted by Montway. No one was dispatched yet when that email was sent that. I have uploaded the receipt of the email to this complaint On Wednesday. June 17th, 11:37AM PST, I received an email that a driver was dispatched even though my cancellation was well before that. I was told on call on Wednesday that I would be charged because someone was dispatched. Why was someone dispatched when I clearly cancelled the order well before that? As specified in their terms and condition: a. Customer may cancel an Order at any time at no cost or cancellation fees as long as the Order has not yet been accepted by a Carrier. They claimed on call they could not find the email record and claimed I will be charged the cancellation fee. I would be happy to work with Montway, the BBB, and outlook, to show proof of this email receipt that was was sent to their email at info@montway.com. I have provided them the receipt of the email record on the phone call and in chat and it was still not resolved. As of now this is also a filed complaint with the BBB and will be disputed with my bank if it comes to that. Edit: I see the reply below and you could message me at-least to find out my order. Why would I post the order number publicly? Edit 6/22/2026: In my BBB complaint reply by Montway, it was confirmed that I did indeed DID contact them before. I am getting my refund and will keep track of this. For everyone who has or will have this issue, please file a BBB complaint and attach Montway's terms of service in addition to your email as track record if you ever encounter this issue.

Can't say enought great things about Bobby and Van 3 Auto Transport. I called him Tuesday evening…read moreto inquire about shipping our car, we finalized the deal Wednesday midday and our car was picked up by 4pm on Thursday. Full story: We had engaged another broker to transport our car from Boston to California and the other broker pulled a bait and switch tripling the originally quoted price. Needless to say we cancelled our order with that broker leaving us in a pinch. When I called Bobby, I was very skeptical of auto shippers because of the other broker. He was very patient with me, explaining everything and assuring us he would deliver on his promises. I had read all the great reviews on Yelp so I decided to go for it. Within an hour he had located a driver and had the driver's dispatch call me to coordinate a pick-up time and what we could expect upon delivery. When the truck arrived to pick-up our car, the driver was very professional and documented the condition of the car while keeping me informed of everything he was doing. When he finished, I was shown everything he had noted and was provided an electronic copy to my email. Our car was delivered right to our door and in excellent condition. I will never go with anyone else when shipping a car, Bobby and Van 3 Auto Transport are top notch.

However, we scheduled my car to be picked up on May 11/12, but it was actually picked up on May 18. Arrival was estimated to be 5-7 business days & my car was delivered on May 27. Since Van3 don't provide tracking, we put an airtag in the car and my car was sitting around Compton for a few days!! We didn't receive updates (usually a day after) unless we texted or called/left voicemail first. Turns out, it was national inspection week so truck drivers were being stopped or didn't want to accept transport. Being in the business for years, I would've expected professionals to be aware of that time of year.

I was very happy with their service from the start until the finish of the work…read more I had intended to get my windows tinted "eventually", but I just bought the car and didn't really want to take on another expense right away. However, my new car got dinged days after getting it and they were able to buff it out pretty easily. I was able to find the spot the work was done, but it took me a minute. I would be shocked if anyone who was unaware could even find the spot. While I was there, I also had my front two windows tinted while I waited and they did a good job. However, when I got the vehicle home I noticed that there was a decent bubble in the front driver side window. I contacted them the next day and they said to bring it back so it could be redone. At no point did I feel like they tried to push off the responsibility or try to get away from standing by their work. They fixed it no questions asked. I have no reason to believe that they wont also honor the lifetime warranty that they offer on their window tinting.
