My only criticism is that the pegs in the dressing room are too small! If you have more than a few hangers they can easily fall off. Hooks would be an appreciated improvement. You also need to be quick if you want to be able to drop off consignment! That's not the store's fault, word has just spread about this gem of a store. I'd also like to say that I haven't had a bad customer service experience while there. I understand that some people may have differing personalities, and some people may want more direct customer service but as someone who enjoys being able to shop without having an employee always checking in, I appreciate that this store let customers do their own thing while shopping. Also, I've learned that the best way to see the most up to date hours is to check their Instagram account.

They aren't even high end tops $36 for a tank top that's stretched out? Online boutique price for the same top was 25-30$ (some of which on sale due to it being winter and nobody is in tank tops in Alaska right now) Even shoes that were discolored were pricey. I really was excited to see a second hand store but will sadly avoid due to prices.

My "winter boots" were Uggs and were definitely not sufficient for the extreme cold. A team member helped me select a Baffin boot 3 sizes larger than my typical shoe size. I had no idea they ran so small. You should really try on boots in-person as opposed to online, and Prospectors had the largest selection of boots I've seen at an outdoors store in Fairbanks. I'm happy and my feet shouldn't get frostbite thanks to Prospectors. Go check them out!

I run here when I know I need some casual business clothes for work or a cute dress. They have a little something for everyone and there are some pretty cute shoes. I couldn't find Khaki pants anywhere at Fred Myers but I found a pair here. They have other colors too - lots of good fall clothes. They're a bit more pricey that what I usually care for, but they're always having sales and you can collect old navy instore points to save money on future purchases. My favorite part is all their workout clothes. They have a good selection of workout tops and yoga pants. They make for comfy PJ's. :) And there are dressing rooms if you need to try things on.

The way every store anywhere should be.

This is a small shop so one should expect that things might take a long time. The owner seems very knowledgeable and reasonably friendly. I picked up a padded duffle and some travel organizers.
