I went to Castle for the first time and it will be the LAST time. I bought a $35 garter belt and the first time I went to put it on one of the straps broke before I could even get my tights hooked to it. I looked closely at the other straps and realized a second one was also already broken and I hadn't even touched that one! The rubber was flimsy and brittle. I suspect the first one was probably already broken, also, as it came off so quickly and easily. As I'd intended to wear it and had no cause to think it was a defective item, I'd already taken the tag off. The store clerks refused to let me exchange or return it, even with a receipt. Look, I get it, your vendor won't let you send it back without a tag. That should be YOUR problem though, not your customer's. It's called a cost of doing business and if that's the kind of relationship you have with a vendor I suggest you take it up with them. Why should a customer have to suffer a financial loss because you developed a sub par business relationship? That is a TERRIBLE way to run a business. I rarely get mad at employees, but this was a very bad move, Castle. I don't appreciate being the victim of your unfortunate agreement with a vendor. $35 may not be a large sum of money, but I can't let this go on principle. I really loved coming here but this last time I had a very weird experience. My friend and I went to look at lingerie and there was this employee who would not leave us alone.
