I approached the bar where I was given a replacement drink. I was still at my table, visiting and everything was normal until I noticed me drink gone....again. 3/4full. I approached the bar where they notified me that I was intoxicated (after maybe 1 full drink total) and that I had to leave. They were calling the police on me. Police showed up, I stepped outside, they confirmed I was not intoxicated but the bar made off with our drinks as well as a hefty tip to which we could not change. We will not be visiting this place ever again!!

This is my type of place!…read more It must be because it looks like the era that I grew up in (kind of)...70's decor, 80's-90's retro stores, and antique stores that remind me of my grandparents. Of course, with any mall, there are some winners and losers but overall I really enjoyed walking around this open mall and finding a bunch of awesome places. In my three weeks I spent in the Tri-Cities - I frequented Uptown four different times because as my friends would come visit I had to show them how cool this place is. Like the public market sign you see at Pike Place Market or at Pybus, this is very similar, so I was intrigued. We had to check it out. We stopped in on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised by what we found. Just like the market spaces at Pike Place and Pybus in Wenatchee, this is a public market space for local vendors around the area, selling crafts and goods, gifts and refreshments. It's not a very large market, but what they offer here are local gems. We walked around the entire market and there was always something that made us smile from the quirky offerings to the free samples from the food vendors. It was pretty quiet on a Sunday morning, so I assume it picks up around lunch time. It was nice to check out, and would do so again when in the area. There's a private parking lot right outside the entrance and bathrooms inside.

If you have a big problem, people just know to move to the bigger cities with a greater diversity and more/bigger Asian grocery stores. However, every now and then, you need a good Asian grocery store and out of the options in the Tri-cities area, this may or may not be the store for you--depending on what you're looking for. If you're looking for more fresh Asian vegetables or frozen fish, this store is for you. If you're looking for a greater selection of sauces, dried noodles, mushrooms, etc., check out Columbia Oriental Market across town. This store was smaller than I thought it was going to be inside and the options didn't seem as great as Columbia Oriental. That said, the vegetable section here is bigger than that at Columbia Oriental. But, I believe they probably have the same supplier as having gone to both stores in one day, they seem to have the same selection with the same freshness (this place just had more out on display with all the more space). So, depending on what you need or are looking for, this may be the better grocery store for you! For me personally, I prefer and will go to Columbia Oriental Market over this place simply because I don't think they have as many options when it comes to sauces, powder mixes, and dried foods. But both are worth checking out to make your own decision!

There is a small selection of fresh produce and no meat counter here but a good place to get sauces and frozen items to cook Asian dishes. A nice cooler with some canned fruit juices too like mango. COME ON IN, GET YOUR POSTCARDS!!…read morewas looking for picture postcards of the area because this area is overflowing with card-worthy scenes and scenery and this is where I found 'em. some are about the tri-cities and local goings on, some are period pieces, some are just kinda fun or funny. not really sure why postcards are so hard to find around here (or anywhere?) on the front is a better snap than most people will ever take and on the reverse there's usually an interesting bit of about the image on front... and after picking out postcards there's regular cards, playing cards, incenses, desk signs, finger puppets, refrigerator magnets, posters, games, all manner of t-shirts and puzzles, and candies and nostalgic references to the dawn of the nuclear age to amuse people of all ages who get that an entire world existed before they were told otherwise.

Asked me what I was doing and when I said waiting for a movie to end she said I should go to Barnes and Noble. The clothing looked nice and high end. I can't help but think she made an incorrect assumption that I didn't have money. I was actually interested in finding a party dress and some classics but she was so rude I won't go back.
