One thing that you also need to watch out for are the people that they allow in this school. at this point, it's not even a christian school. my son says every time he walks passed anyone, he hears bad words. now I don't know what their parents allow them to say or do but I do know for a fact that a "christian school" should not be permitting their students to say cuss words. another thing you should think twice about are the feminine boys. Yes Feminine boys. again I know this school is "christian" and all but please watch out or think twice before you send your kid/kids here because my son claims that there are feminine boys that dress weirdly and other shyt like that. another thing is discipline. The discipline is so bad here. My son said that one day in science that someone stabbed a kid with a pen and only got detention. sad. also you need to watch out for substances. this part has gotten so bad to the point where kids were bringing vapes to school and security had to bring out the dogs. the kids who were caught with this vape and shot only got suspended. and unless you want your kid/kids to get into fights. then send em here. This parcel is far more than vacant land--it is part of the historic birthplace of Granada Hills. The remaining historic structures have been allowed to deteriorate over the years, and it is heartbreaking to watch such an important piece of our community's history continue to decline. This is also not the first time this property has been at the center of controversial development proposals. For decades, the community has raised concerns about projects that would intensify use of this site despite its location in a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone and the surrounding evacuation challenges. Many residents believe these concerns deserve far more consideration than they have received. As a neighbor, I have found Heritage Christian School to be largely unresponsive to the community's longstanding concerns about the property's condition and future. Instead of working with residents to preserve this historic site and find a solution that benefits Granada Hills, the property continues to be marketed for increasingly intensive development. This land represents an important chapter in our community's history. It deserves thoughtful stewardship, preservation where possible, and a future that respects both public safety and the heritage of Granada Hills--not another proposal that divides the community. I hope Heritage Christian School reconsiders its approach and becomes a better partner to the neighborhood it has been part of for so many years.

The admissions office has been phenomenal in every way, from the introductions from Principal Nalbandian to Mel at the front desk. Great teamwork on making my daughter feel welcomed. Our great family friend Emil was a large support as well, he guided and helped us so much. She thanks us everyday for making it happen and allowing her to make great educational and memorable days at AGBU. The teachers were so welcoming and informative on back to school night and first introduction before school began. Their sports curriculum and coaches Armen and Rodney are great , when my daughter attended the summer program she was able to situate herself before school even begin. It's a very safe school with the support of parents and professional security company monitoring the safety. Thank you everyone who participates in making the school so wonderful. We are excited for her and seeing many more great years to come.

Both of my children are thriving in this environment, where the focus is not on technology, but in developing their creative skills in writing, mathematics, music, sports, and above all how to be wonderful humans with their fellow classmates and teachers. We see a dramatic difference from the students around the school in comparison to children who are at the same age group going to public school and for us there's no comparison.
