They have said that the coaches are rude and mean and my child always says i used to have fun at PE but now i dread going to it. My child also complains about the principle but nothing horrible. When teachers assign a well-earned B, the response is often outrage, including harassing phone calls to the district and higher offices. The entire administrative team has turned over and been replaced, and when administrators attempt to enforce rules or maintain standards, they too become targets. The honor roll has lost all meaning: approximately 98% of students are labeled "honor students" and hold perfect GPAs. The level of grade inflation is staggering. It is deeply disappointing that despite the high cost of living in this area, the school community has become entitled, toxic, and hostile to academic integrity.

In 2025, the middle school instituted an HONORS math placement testing option. The middle school does have honors algebra and geometry until the 8th grade. Mrs Mary Guerra is the head admissions person and she's absolutely amazing and wonderful. Mrs Lotta is also extremely helpful and resourceful. The head of the math department is Mrs Cheek. She's very strict, tough, & extremely helpful to students. Mrs. Sipping who teaches history and religion is both relatable & kind. It can be said that Chaminade isn't without bad teachers, as most schools will have plenty of those. Sports at Chaminade is a big thing because this is how the school and the students attract college & university scholarships. SJE school is one of the biggest feeder school to Chaminade. Just this year we sent 12 fifth graders & 4 eighth graders to Chaminade. So of course the students will know each other and hang out with each other. Chaminade middle school has an 8 House System, like Harry Potter, & this is where kids have a chance to make friends at all levels of the school. I can see and understand that if you start at the Chaminade high school level that it can be tough to adjust. However, if your kids start at the middle school, they will have adjusted and created a pattern of learning and achieving which will propel them in high school. I do recommend Chaminade without any reservations. There's so much to do here, starting at their middle school, that you can't even believe!!

I have two girls here and they love their friends and teachers. And they look forward to coming to school and miss it when there's a break- alway a good sign! The PTC organizes many fun events throughout the year for the families such as the Back to School Dance, the holiday movie night and raffle, quiz night, and the spring gala for the parents only. It's a great variety with good attendance and the kids always seem to have lots of fun. If you're looking for a great school in the community then I highly recommend touring St Euphrasia!
