I do not know where to begin. I hate dentist visits, for that I haven't seen a dentist in years. So let me tell you when I first came in, my teeth were in bad shape. I had a few cavities, I needed 2 root canals, and a shattered tooth. First visit... Dr K introduced herself, and we spoke. She's funny and witty, but made me feel comfortable. She mentioned all the things that is wrong with my teeth, and even mentioned solutions. Most dentists in the past would just scold me to death, for not keeping up with my dental visits. But she was like "this is what's wrong with your teeth, I'm concerned about this shattered tooth, but we're gonna fight for it". First of all, there was really nothing there left, and any other dentist would've just extracted it and call it a day. But Dr. K cares about how it looks, so she was willing to try her best in working with it and getting a crown. Second visit... Dr K gets in there fills the cavities, and put temporary filling on the shattered tooth so it can protect it. She recommends a root canal. Third visit... I get a cleaning. Fourth visit... A specialist comes in and does a root canal. Fifth Visit... Dr K does another root canal on the shattered tooth. Sixth visit... I get fitted for crown and put temporaries in. Last and final visit... I get my permanent crowns. In and out within 35 minutes. Dr K and her team were so attentive to my oral needs and they made sure my teeth are back to pristine condition. Mind you all of these visits happened within 2 months, which is crazy cause I've never had this much personal interest medically before. They were quick to call me as soon as an opening was available. And because of that I was able to get my teeth fixed. Thank you Dr K for your wonderful work and personal interest. An outstanding team of professionals here, local people who happen to enjoy their work. My dentist Dr. Russell, a former Navy dentist, and his assistant Nikkie, are a perfect team. I feel comfortable here and cared about as a person, not only a patient, which is the primary reason I am calling out this dentist office. Second, the front office team is the best yet; again, I'm not a number, I'm a patient who is treated with a respectful, caring approach. I would strongly advise against returning to this place, as I have been informed afterwards about being placed on this " " Which is missing appointments the fact that they can cancel or change your appointment without notice Is ok. If you cancel or miss appointments too many times, the receptionist very rudely will put you on a " ," without even speaking to you which requires you to call every day in hopes of getting squeezed in. This was never mentioned until after they placed me on the list. The last time I visited, I had a cracked tooth and a chipped tooth and had to wait to be seen. Despite being in pain and requesting a filling, they insisted on a root canal and only shaved down the tooth. Another dentist later mentioned that a filling could have resolved the issue. Now, the tooth is infected, causing me severe pain and affecting my ability to eat and sleep. Even in emergencies, I am not allowed to book appointments because of being on the " ," and despite my pleas for help, I am consistently told they are too busy to see me an call again tomorrow. Went to an appointment in the office in Catskill for a loose implant. 2 x rays and 10 minutes later was informed they could not determine the problem, and recommended I see the dentist that had installed it. $120. waste, very inexperienced Dr. Don't waste your time, go elsewhere. read more

I have been a patient of this office for over 20 years and no more. Seems at every recent visit I was seen by a new dentist. I was developing a problem and the latest female dentist spoke broken english and laughed about a loose tooth I had even taking a video of it on her phone. Who knows where that ended up. Dental care was erratic. For several years, my care was from an employee dentist (not a partner) and this woman did as little as possible in the coldest manner imaginable. I rejoiced when she left the practice. Thereupon, I was given over to one of the partners, an elderly dentist who seemed to have no encompassing plan regarding my dental health. He could not delineate the work which was needed and when it would be done. His own work was sloppy and haphazard--he seemed genuinely disinterested in the practice of dentistry. He then casually tossed me over to a dentist who again was an employee of the practice--not a partner. This woman, younger, more recently educated, provided superior care--better care than I have received from this practice in nearly fifteen years. Unfortunately, when my insurance changed (the same covered care from the same insurance concern but under a slightly different name), I was booted to the curb--and in a nasty way as well. The insurance specialist in this practice is beyond uncaring--she is vicious. Stay away from this double-wide disaster. You're taking an awful risk if you enter. read more

Absolutely wonderful service from this dental office. The dental care is excellent and most important (to me) is the help I've gotten from the billing office to help manage our dental insurance, so we are getting everything we are supposed to from my aunt's dental plan and not overpaying out of pocket. Always easy to get someone on the phone to help with any issue. Highly recommend! read more
