Lipnick was great, the reason why I stayed with the practice for so long; with him gone, the practice has lost all patient centered focus, it's now $, $ and more $. After going over my annual dental insurance limit and being hit with a big bill, I paid in installments only to find out that during Covid, when I lost my job, the practice had referred my account to a collection agency - they call it an "accelerator." Nice euphemism for we don't give a shit about you, give us our money. They immediately looked to see about an appointment, found someone had cancelled, and set up an appointment for less than a week. When I got there, they were extremely friendly. After filling out paperwork, the technician and I had such a nice friendly conversation as we waited for the doctor to come in. As soon as he came in he said "Thank you for choosing us" saying also many other dentists exist closer to me and he appreciated the fact that I chose to come to him. Because the filling fell out some time before, I expected complications. But he said, nothing we haven't handled before, and fixed everything without a problem; no pain, not extensive.... Usually I put out a bad review quickly cause of annoyance. In this case I was so happy, and though I wanted to put out this review before, I didn't get to it til now. Months later, I have no problems. Better than any dentist I have had before.

Starkman seemed very nice and gentle 5 years ago when I first started seeing him which was refreshing coming from an dentist who was not, but he lied to me about fixing a failed crown, and just drummed up a bunch of unnecessary work for his associates that has failed me and now I see him as a greedy old man with a superiority complex who is only available for a month or two out of the year. The hygienists are aggressively covering up the failures of the dentists who do restoration work there, when he's on vacation. Everything here is overpriced(and will probably fail you within a few years), and smile club is a scam. Don't waste your energy on starkman and his revolving door of inadequate associates, like I did. Get some better toothpaste without the harsh abrasives, take a oral probiotic and get a hygienist who doesn't cover up other dentist's failures!

His staff is always friendly, whether it be having a general conversation about how you're doing or talking to you about any particular concerns you have. They are always on time, and I have never had to wait for my scheduled time. They have called me ONCE to tell me they were running 15 minutes behind and asked if I wanted to reschedule. They are all warping professional and kind from the moment you walk in the door!
