I complained about a horrific phone experience with 4 agents in 30 minutes......have heard nothing from CF. Why is there double shipping charges. When I called after placing an order I called customer service to ask why they do that, the customer service person danced around the question so you couldn't understand. Placed an order on February 2nd. Received tracking info pretty quickly, but besides saying 'in transit', it has never updated in 3 months. I called after 3 weeks, and again after 6 weeks (at this point WY past the birthday I sent the gift for). They wouldn't do anything since it 'has shipped'. Refused to give me the money back after a few months. They would only reimburse you if you sent the product back. It's now been over 3 months. This is a scam. As if that wasn't high enough--the jacket was too small and I exchanged it (for another $63.80). I got my refund for the returned too-small jacket--no item for item exchange-- and it was a grand $34.15. Something bad has happened to catalog Favorites.com, favoritescatalog.com and now favorites.com Apparently they're going thru ownership changes because of the different changes in website. I placed an order of two items on Sept 8, 2025 and it's now Sept 18 and they still haven't processed my order. Have called customer service three times so far and no one can give me any information for the delay or what's the problem. All they've told me is "my order is being processed". Save your time, money and frustration and DO NOT order from this company. If, like me, you've been a customer I pray you haven't encountered issues. The shirts I have ordered were good quality and fit well. However if you order something that does not fit, the return policy sucks. You don't know for sure if you ever get credited on your charge card when returning items . If you want to exchange something for a larger size, that has never worked out for me, I never got a larger item from the company to replace it. So didn't know if I got credited from the original item or not, because they usually say it takes up to 60 days. read more

Ordered on 5/11/ 25. Confirmation email 5/11/25. Email 5/12/25 stating my credit card did not match my billing address. I have used that CC for 22 years with the correct billing address. Talked with 3 different levels of customer service all stating the same thing. I called my CC and they tell me that the billing address is correct and that the order has processed. My CC has put an alert on my card to watch for scams from Favorite or their affiliates. Until this is satisfactorily resolved I will not order from Favorites or Potpourri. read more

Although I have ordered from this company in the past (since 2017), their level of service has significantly fallen since then. Two of my recent orders were put on hold, and they were not able to tell me when the back order could be filled - they said it was an indefinite period of time, so I cancelled both. She placed the order again on SEPT. 8th with another agent and was told due to her unfortunate experience it would be shipped 2-day air. My Mom cried Sept 9th when she didn't have a gift for my birthday and it broke my heart seeing her so upset. I called the company on the 9th and spoke with someone and they promised delivery on the 13th, asked to be sent to a supervisor and was left on hold so long the batteries started to die in my phone and had to hang up. Today is Sept, 14th AND STILL NO GARMENT!!!! I called AGAIN, got the tracking $ and knock-on-wood it will come today. That's their idea of 2-Day Shipping folks!!! Avoid this company at all costs. In fact, they are owned by Potpourri Group Inc. (PGI) who also owns SageFinds. CatalogFavorites and SageFinds sends out catalogs with great prices. But they are shady! I ordered sneakers. Nowhere in the order process was I told these are on backorder. Once I actually paid for the order, THEN I was told they were on backorder for 3 months! So I called to cancel order. It tooks 3 attempts to get them to reverse the charges and cancel order. However, unbeknownst to me, they signed me up for VIP membership!! Isn't that illegal? I didn't know until I saw the charge go through my checking account. Now, I am cancelling the membership. Customer service didn't seemed suprised. I wanted a jewelry ensemble pictured online and in a catalog so much that I did some internet research to discover the same thing on SageFinds.com. No answer. Yes, there's a problem here. It took over two months to get a pair of sneakers when it said a week to arrive, when I purchased them. Then they were much, much too small for the size marked on the shoes. Then customer service was a complete nightmare to return them. Then they fraudulently charge me another whole charge for the sneakers which I do not have. I returned the items paying shipping both ways, but then I had a $14.95 charge on my credit card! I tried to call but I was put on hold for a good while and then was cut off. I sent an email, but there was no response! Now, after having 5 charges on my credit card and getting the runaround, I called Chase Credit Card and they fixed it! Besides being over priced for the quality of the items, my biggest issue was their return policy (which I cannot find anywhere on their site). Though they do accept returns and do have a preprinted label what they do not tell you is beside the original shipping cost (which is non-refundable, which I expected), they also reduce your credit for the return shipping fee, Original item $39.00 shipping fee $10.95, then another $10.95 for the return and out of $50 Ispent I end up with a $29 credit. I ordered a handbag that was suppose to have a strap long enough for a crossbody style. It was expensive but it looked like what I wanted. When it finally arrived the strap was 4 inches shorter than the description online. I returned it immediately and ordered a different bag. Finally received a credit on my Visa that is $28. less than the total I paid for a defective bag. Really? Their charges for shipping are ridiculous. Also on my Visa is a charge for the second handbag which I haven't even received. The amount charged is, of course, incorrect so I called customer service. They literally just keep repeating the same lines of how I didn't accept the follow up email so that I could get the 10% discount. This company has no customer service. I would like to give them less than 1 star. My mother who is older ordered from them against my better judgment to give me a present in early FEB. They send the wrong items in the order. I called care the day we received it and sent it back in good faith. It is now April we have contacted them by phone twice and by email 4 times. They do not put notes on the accounts during the call and just closed the ticket because we received an order not our order but "you know we got one so we should be happy". I have never seen a company so hard to deal with they have ripped off my mother for more than 150 dollars and I bet the customer who got her order is not pleased either. The chain is cheap - maybe made of aluminum but definitely not silver, silver-plated or anything that resembles a real material. In addition, I ordered 3 sweatshirts - They did not notify me that 2 were on backorder until late Jan and mid March. (Not sure how that works for Christmas). I've ordered several items from this company over the years and I'd never had a problem until now. This time I ordered a winter jacket, which I desperately needed because my old one was becoming threadbare (it was mostly the lining, but still....) - and Catalog Favorites had one that's quite similar, plus the price was good. It arrived within the predicted amount of time - but I discovered that some of the buttons from the lining were literally "hanging by a thread". Since I'm the one who paid for the item, I didn't feel it's my responsibility to have to sew the buttons on - and I also think their quality control is non-existent. I called and spoke to a really nasty woman (and I'm referring to her demeanor [i.e.; not the information she provided, since she had no control over the company's policies]) - and she told me they don't do (UPS or FedEx) pick-ups (meaning, I'd have to bring the jacket to the post office myself [I say post office, since she said they'd only reimburse for the cheapest shipping cost - so that would leave out UPS and FedEx]). I told her there was *no way* I was going to walk the long distance to the post office and wait in a long line when it was *their* fault - but when I got nowhere with her, I insisted on speaking to a supervisor. She purportedly connected me to someone, but all I got was a voicemail - so I called back and got ahold of a much nicer person, but there was still no change in the situation. I therefore said I wanted to just return the jacket and get a refund (instead of having them send me a replacement). She told me they might not reimburse me for the cost of having shipped the original jacket to me (**I** paid for the shipping [$12.50]!) - so I then requested a supervisor. She connected me to *another* (supervisor's) voicemail, at which point I had no choice but to leave a message. That was three days ago.... At this point I'm keeping the jacket (and sewing on the loose buttons) because the return process is absolutely ludicrous and I need the jacket - but I'll never again order from this company. read more

My 87 year old mother mailed a check and her order form on 3 March 2021 from the Catalog Favorites catalog. Regular shipping cost was $9.99, and expedited 2 day shipping cost an additional $12.95. the total cost with shipping was $63.77. She paid for expedited shipping to ensure the item would be received before her daughter's birthday. When the item did not come a week later, Mrs. Nakagawa called the customer svc and they claimed the order was not received. An additional week later, she called again and the customer rep. claimed again that the order was not received. By 22 March, Mrs. Nakagawa called her bank and learned her check had been cashed on 10 March. She called back the customer rep. and spoke to Lyn. Lyn insisted that the order was not received. When Mrs. Nakagawa explained that her check had been cashed on 10 March, miraculously, Lyn realized that the order had indeed been received but not shipped. The 2 day expedited cost $12.95 was a fraud, from 10 March till 22 March, the item was not shipped and there was no indication that this company intended to honor Mrs. Nakagawa's order or payment. the item was finally shipped and is expected to arrive on 15 April, over 1 month later than originally requested and paid for. This company must be sited for fraudulent sales and taking advantage of the elderly. This situation was filed with the Federal Trade Commission for fraud and taking advantage of the elderly. read more

BEWARE THE VIP - nothing free it is a $14.95 per month charge!! At checkout the site promises "free shipping" if you become a VIP - which I thought was getting on their email list. Turns out it is a recurring $14.95 per month on the card I placed my actual item purchase. They routinely back-order, so I didn't realize what the recurring charge was for three months = $45. When I contacted them, they did not care, would not refund even though I had not placed any orders within that time and clearly there was a mistake. Next month came and still no order was received. I call again and let them know I want a full refund, was told I would get that refund in 7-10 days I wait 16 days I still have no refund. I call back to find out where the refund is and I'm told they have never seen an order for me therefore no refund. I had to get copies of my check and fax to them and 16 days later I still don't have a refund. After I made a purchase from this company They started billing me $14.95/month for some discount club in which I never enrolled. My credit card company flagged the unauthorized charge and is disputing it. Unfortunately neither I nor my bank noticed this until MANY unauthorized charges were made by this company.
