I showed up to find their office closed. The next day I called to see what happened and was abruptly told I was wrong and I made the mistake by a very rude employee named Lisa. I asked to reschedule for an evening appoint and put on hold. About 5 mins later Lisa came back on saying their next appointment was 10:45am on April 24th. She even took the time to look up an eye surgeon for me to follow up with. Wrote down three names. I picked out a pair of glasses, with no pressure, or up selling (I would be having surgery my glasses would only be for a couple of months, as my RX would change). The exam itself was great and all the pretesting, the ultimate reason for my low score is they never billed me for my exam; I kept checking with my eye insurance company through the remainder of 2024, but they kept saying they didn't see anything billed. Fast forward to one year later, they send me a bill but it shows that my insurance denied it, well, of course they denied it because you're billing me a year after the services were done. Whose fault is that for billing my insurance company one year later? My second part is when I went back to pick up a variety of sample contacts. I was handed a bag on contacts with no instructions whatsoever provided; mind you, there were four different brands, two different styles and two different prescription strength of trials. What do you expect me to do; try and figure it out this blind puzzle? This is why I pay by American Express; when issues like this arise I don't have to go back and work with the supplier, AMEX does. I have all the receipts from my co-payments I made at the time of service, so nice try!!!

Recently I had an appointment cancelled on me due to inclement weather. Ok, that's understandable. There was a snowstorm. However, I didn't receive any notification of the cancellation. I ended up driving to the office only to find a note on the door regarding the closure. More recently I arrived to an appointment ten minutes late because of a delay at work. Ok, that's on me for being late. When I arrived I was told I would have to reschedule again because they were behind. Over being 10 minutes late?! Seemed like just an excuse to not take me. When I gave my name in order to reschedule, the woman sitting at the desk of the optical department could not even find my name on the list to reschedule, almost as if I wasn't listed as having an appointment that day. Even more recently I ordered contacts after my exam. Despite having my insurance on file the optical department didn't use my insurance but charged me full price. These issues have all been in a span of two weeks. Despite the convenience of being in the same town as I live in, the amount of problems with this office are not worth it for me to stay. I will be switching eye doctors next year!

My eyes are on the more sensitive side and I've always struggled going to the optometrist because of it. She was able to pinpoint reasons why my eyes were extra sensitive and put me on a better plan with contacts that worked better for me.
