Catalyst has the best prices hands down in Oxnard. Their staff is nice and welcoming (most of the time). The shorter security guard is a little stoic but whatever. If you place an order online, you don't have to stand in line. If you have an ID, make sure it's in tact, or you won't get let in. That is not their rule, that is a state of CA law and if you think they should risk their license or fines for going against that's actually a little strange. I honestly feel like the best way to view their selection is through WeedMaps. I get a little overwhelmed when I have to make a choice on the spot in store so viewing and/or ordering ahead is my preferred way. They have an ATM inside and sometimes their card reader machine works with ApplePay but their card reader has been functional every time I have visited. I would recommend some kind of tint or film on the front windows though. Maybe one where it is frosted looking on the outside so they can only see shadows on the inside versus it being wide open. read more

Be VERY careful coming here and giving this business any of your money, make sure you double check the products that these employees are trying to push to sell to you are the correct products you were looking for, because they are doing a new scam here apparently to steal money from customers which is them ensuring you that they're giving you the product that you're asking for but when you get home, it's not that product that you asked for, and you will not be able to get a refund or exchange you are stuck with it even though it is their fault and their mistake 100% . manager CHRIS is not helpful whatsoever to customers and the employees working here know absolutely nothing about the products that they're selling because today they sent me out with the wrong product: I had specifically asked for ROSIN , the employee told me there was a new brand and who they were Collabing and working with one of the previous brands Ive tried before and that it was really great but they gave me RESIN instead of rosin , and me having trusted the employee I didn't take a second look at the package before walking out because clearly I had told them already what I was looking for so I expected them to give me that exact product obviously , but when I got to my car I realized that it said oil on the receipt not Rosin so I went back in to do a simple exchange so I could get what I had originally asked for since the employee had messed up and made a mistake and giving me the wrong thing , keep in mind: I've been coming here for years and visit multiple catalyst dispensaries in LA Orange County and here and I've never had an issue before , I was in there for almost an hour arguing with employees , management, etc. all over a simple exchange the bag was still stapled, and the product was untouched , I was just trying to get the product that I had asked for that they had mistakenly not giving me, they gave me this member rules agreement, which is not even a list of legal policies telling me there is nothing they could do about it , even though the section they highlighted, says that they will make exchanges for products on a case by case basis, so clearly this wasn't a case or customer that they wanted to take initiative for whatever reason so please be aware if you come here that they do no type of refunds or exchanges if their employees mess up anything it is THE CUSTOMERS fault and they will not take responsibility or mend the situation. I will not be giving any more money to this dispensary ever again based on my last experience here. read more

Terrible place. Horrendous customer service. Terrible location. I went there and proceeded to get in line. I followed the ropes to the line entrance and some little f*ck decided to go under the ropes and cut in line. I called him out on it and the security kept telling me it's no big deal. Worst customer service ever! I always drive 30 minutes and buy my weed here. Today I bought a WCC Cartridge. I speak Spanish only, I know only a little bit of English. When I went inside to try and explain which one I wanted, they gave me a completely different cartridge from the one I asked them for. Different flavor, low in THC, and wasn't what I wanted. The point is, I bought it thinking it was the one I wanted and when I went to go and ask to exchange it, not even 10 seconds later. They said no! and made fun of me. Now I'm completely unsatisfied with my purchase and the customer service. I want my money back! I feel scammed and won't ever be coming here again. read more

Selection was good Prices are decent I've only been there once wish to go again , the gentleman that helped me was super rude and unattended didn't really try to talk to me I had to talk to him felt like pulling teeth , I spent like $300 wanted to spend more but he really made me feel uncomfortable and wanted to just go home and smoke maybe because I went 30 minutes before closing or he was having a bad day / didn't have a good lunch , either way I will be back hopefully it will be better this time read more

This is my go to store. From the management down to front desk they are all sweet. They make every visit here a good one. I normally love going to Catalyst Oxnard and I'd like to say I'm a regular there I'm 52 years old and have been to just about every dispensary in Ventura County and surrounding areas and have made catalyst my go to shop until I had the worst service ever by a guy named Daniel ,With the sale going on I wanted to try out different things and new genetics but he knew absolutely nothing about flower Or any of the products that I ask him about, and was simply just lost, looking out into space, was not even listening to me , he made me feel like I was a bother to him and then told me that he had to clock out and handed me off to The cashier and I wasn't even done shopping. Bottom line is Daniel don't know shit about the cannabis business and should not be working there. He should be flipping burgers. I will be going back but I will make sure to call first to be certain that Daniel isn't there, ( he told me himself that he doesn't know anything about flower because it doesn't get him high and he prefers wax ) ps. some people don't just use Cannabis to get high read more

I did like this shop for a moment, but now there starting to act like SKUNK MASTERS! Staff is not so nice, let's start with some lady named Cindy, she acts like you owe her something! Good flower, but that's as it ! This people should keep in mind that is a Cannabis shop you work at, not the GUCCI store!
