Location should definitely consider trades for the gatcha machines, I spent 40$ to only receive 11 of the exact same item plush in the only rilakkuma theme machine... I understand completely that's it's all a gamble but there was not much variety in that machine at all unfortunately I will say there was cute merchandise I have bought before half the store turned into the gatcha machines

    Samurai outfit for $3000.. lol

I believe Catch is the sister store to Maneki Neko, and while they carry many similar types of products, Catch has its own fun twist that makes it worth checking out. One of the most intriguing things about this shop is their coin machine experience. You can exchange cash for coins (about $2 per coin) and use them on different prize machines filled with cute items and collectibles. I haven't tried it out myself just yet, but it definitely looks like a fun activity. They have a ton of different machines to browse through, and it adds a playful arcade-like vibe to the store. The shop itself is fairly spacious and very neatly organized. Everything is displayed in a clean, aesthetically pleasing way, which makes browsing around really enjoyable. Like many stores that carry Sanrio and anime merchandise, some items can be a bit pricey. As for customer service, there's not much to say. I don't recall being greeted and there hasn't been much interaction with employees besides at checkout. That said, it's still a fun place to shop and explore. One thing to note is that the store is a little hidden--it's located upstairs near the parking payment machines--so you might miss it if you're not looking for it. There are signs along the way that help guide you to the store.

Great place to find even niche collectibles like Monday Bruce which I couldn't find in many stores. Smiskis were about $13 and authentic. There were many options for smiskis as well. I loved their gotcha options, I got 3 pieces for about $4-$6 each and they were so cute including the miffy pointing gotcha ($4), miffy suitcase gotcha ($4, suitcase opens up and handles pops up) and the Sanrio glasses studio hello kitty gotcha ($6). I also got 2 Monday Bruce's ($20 each). Store is upstairs!

Located on the third floor of the Japanese Village Plaza Parking Garage (111 S Central Ave). They do validation here. I was amazed when I went through the door. The place is HUGE!!! So many blind boxes, plushies, gashapon, and so much more. I went slowly through the aisles and saw many blind boxes that I wanted. The gashapon was fun to check out. This is such an impressive store that I really enjoyed walking around. Can't wait to come back next time to grab more blind boxes.

Blind box overload. Gatcha stations. Figurines. Snacks. Trinkets on trinkets and stuffies. Staff was also extremely nice considering how busy they were on weekend two for them. I will go back and add even more stuff to our collections

Missing Japan? This is the spot to visit. Step into a little slice of Japan with this new store filled with blind boxes, collectible figurines, plushies, snacks, photo ops, and more. From viral Labubu characters to fan favorites like Pokémon and Sanrio, there's something for every collector and kawaii lover. Don't miss their gashapon section--just exchange your cash for coins and pop them into the machines to score a surprise toy. It's such a fun and nostalgic experience! Grand Opening: August 1, 2025 at 11AM The first 200 customers will receive a goodie bag and gashapon coins--so show up early! The best part? The prices are super reasonable. You can tell they've done their homework on fair market value. How to find it: Locate their sister store, Maneki Niko. Then turn around and take the elevator directly across from it to the third floor. Once you exit, make a right--and you're there! Already planning my next visit!

This store is in Little Tokyo. Everything in here is sooooo cute. Lots of those machines you put tokens in and get a cute prize. Great place to find a gift for kids or the adult kids like myself. Staff is great. They have no lafufus all real. Popmart is much pricier compared to this store.

This place has a large selection of collectibles, toys, mystery boxes, plushies, decorations, and snacks. They have things fairly priced which was pleasantly surprising. It's a great place to walk around and spend some time browsing their collections. If you need a quick gift for someone who likes anime or collectibles this a great place to go.

The store is very clean and organized. They have a lot of blind boxes with good prices. They also have large selection of Pop Mart products with competitive prices. The staff are nice and friendly. The store is upstairs so many people might have missed it. You should check them out since they have lower prices compared to other stores. I will definitely come back to complete my Labubu Wacky Mart series :)

Visit the table where they have on sale stuff and clearance.

Believe it or not they located in the 3rd floor take the elevator on the street level of little Tokyo. It looks small but inside it a big store. A lot of blind boxes to chose from and you can take pictures in design area. Fun place to hangout with friends.

A great place to visit if you're ever in LittleTokyo. Has a great selection of plushies, figures and Gacha machines. In addition has tons of blind boxes and even Labubus. Lastly Staff is great, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend visiting.

My first time visiting this store in little Tokyo and I was impressed at the size and curation the store has with many popular Japanese brands and characters. I love the large selection of gachapon machines with many unique ones as well! I also love how friendly and patient staff are and not to mention there' a large seating area inside the store near the cashiers with a great view of the shohei ohtani mural!

It was an amazing experience playing with the gashapon machines, and they were also relatively pretty cheap.

Sega Pop-Up Shop @ Anime Jungle…read more I had a great time checking out the Sega Pop-Up Shop in Little Tokyo at Anime Jungle! The pop-up runs through August, and while the main focus is Sonic the Hedgehog, they also have merch from Persona and Yakuza. Going on a weekday with a friend was definitely the right move--we only had to wait a few minutes to get in. Upon entering, staff hands you a ticket, and employees closely monitor the room while you browse. The shop is exceptionally well-organized, making it fun to look through all the beautiful, high-quality items. Since almost everything is directly imported from Japan and hard to find in the U.S., the prices are definitely on the higher side, but the exclusivity makes it worth it. I couldn't resist picking up a miniature Shadow the Hedgehog plush! The only downside to the visit was the customer service at checkout. The two employees at the register were busy chatting with each other, so I eventually had to speak up to ask if I could check out. The employee who rang me up seemed annoyed by the interruption, skipped any friendly greetings or questions about my visit, and just handed over my item after scanning it. Despite that brief hiccup at the counter, the overall experience was super positive. It was so fun wearing my Sonic shirt, seeing all the Japanese exclusive merchandise, and taking in the atmosphere. I highly recommend swinging by before it closes at the end of the month!

Great selection but employees need a major adjustment…read more Stopped in shortly before closing to make a purchase and was told there was a $10 minimum for tap payments, since I had forgotten my wallet. No problem--I started looking for another item to add since I was planning to spend more anyway. As they started to announce the store was closing, I asked if I could quickly grab cash from a friend outside the store and was asked, "Can you do it in 3 minutes?" This same associate was managing the customers going in to the store and she seemed to have issues remembering people's faces. I understand the store was closing, but the interaction felt rushed and unwelcoming. I was still trying to make a purchase and likely would have bought additional items, but after being treated like an inconvenience, I decided to leave instead.

The reason why I'm giving it a 3 out of 5 is because of a bad experience today with the door person. We came in today, July 19th around the afternoon, about 3-4 PM. I understand their bag policy, it sucks but what can you do. We were very compliant with the doorman, but he seemed to have an attitude. Listen man, I get that it's hot and you may be having a day, but that doesn't mean you get to be rude. We went in, and immediately he needed to take our bags. We complied cause it's policy, and I politely told him "oh I have a small bag!" As in to tell him we have another bag to give him. He took it the wrong way and said "trust me I don't want to take it more than you do" under his breath. Buddy, I can hear you. I didn't even say it in a rude way, I'm just informing you that there was another bag. Whatever, we handed all our bags over, one of which was a bag carrying some merchandise (mainly some posters we purchased from another event we came from) mind you, there was 4 posters from a limited time event in there, worth $65. He asked "what's in the bag" all judgmental, like buddy, I get you need to know so you know where to place it on the shelf, but there is such a thing as asking in a nicer way like "is there anything delicate in here" or such. I told him it was some posters I had got. So. TELL ME WHY THIS GUY PUT THE BAG WITH THE POSTERS LAYING FLAT DOWN FIRST AND THEN PROCEEDED TO PUT OUR HEAVY BACKPACK AND OUR SMALLER BAG ON TOP OF IT. BUDDY. YOU ARE USING A METAL RACK SHELF, AND PUTTING HEAVY ITEMS ON TOP OF PAPER. SOME OF IT WAS EVEN ON THE EDGE SO YOU'RE ACTIVELY CREASING AND BENDING MY BELONGINGS. Anyone should know if you have anything fragile like posters, you would put it on top of the other bags so they do not get folded or creased or get and indents. I quickly told him if he can put the bag with the posters on top because I don't want them to get creased or bent. He doesn't say anything and just quickly does it, but he made a face. Buddy, if you don't like your job or can't do it well enough to know common sense like not putting delicates under heavy items, quit and go find something else, and leave your attitude at the OUTSIDE the door. I went home after this, and saw that all of four of my posters were creased in the same spot, coincidentally the same spot that was bent over the edge of the shelf. I don't care if they're posters and they can be replaced, not everyone has the luxury to replace broke items, especially not limited ones, I spent my hard earned money on it for it to be permanently ruined by some boy who doesn't care about other people's belongings despite being entrusted to handle them. Anyways, come for the merch! But maybe leave your valuables someplace where you know they'll be safe from damage.
