We had the Eggs Benny, an omelet, and the French Toast. Everything was perfect! The eggs Benny was cooked just right with some wonderful thick sliced grilled ham and a bright hollandaise sauce with just the right citrus to balance the eggs and vinegar of the sauce. The omelet was fluffy and filled with a high quality Swiss cheese and grilled onions. The French Toast was made from 3" thick slices of French Bread and grilled perfectly. Brunch was so fantastic we decided to order dinner to pick up after we went to the lake for the day. Wow! The angus steaks, fresh green beans, salad and gellato were absolutely beautiful! We understand that ordering a gourmet meal to take back to your rental cabin is a big deal here at Indigo Hills. Folks regulary call or stop by to pick up a fantastic ready to eat or re-heat meal. While we ate brunch some other tourist like us ordered boxed lunches for their scenic train ride, and I bet they would be fantastic to take out for a day on the lake. Service was amazing, and straight from the owner Gwen. She has some fantastic help, but she seems to need more, so BE PATIENT! The food is well worth it. There also appears to be a very flexible attitude towards hours that they are open. Maybe call ahead to make sure someone is there, and if they aren't there, again be patient!
