The removal of one hair in the wrong area can alter the look of my eyebrows tremendously. I can't tell you how many wax appointments I have left in tears (as well as plenty curse words and rolled eyes to people that claim they have experience with facial hair particularly pertaining to my heritage just to get inside my wallet). The precision and intelligence in this industry Ashley has is devine. It is obvious she has spent countless hours practicing and perfecting her technique. In all, I will never trust anyone with Microblading my eyebrows after this experience. It has almost been 2 years and the ink on my brows are still going strong. I am an extreme baby when it comes to pain. (I have experience getting laser hair removal and lip injections) Ashley made sure I was numb the entire time. I've heard so many horror stories of the pain people endure during their Microblading procedure. I relaxed and just listened to music. I can honestly say I had my least painful experience with Microblading specifically with Ashley. She's stuck touching me up for life at this point! So unfortunate I have to right this review because Celina was very accommodating when I missed my appointment in LA and was able to fit me in the following day. HOWEVER as an artist and professional there is a lack of accountability for her craft that she is missing and I am in shock. I traveled all the way from the East coast to see Celina during her pop-up to get my brow "microbladed" and my results were not on "brand" or close to any of the expectations I had based on reviews and photos she post on Instagram. Please do due diligence when I comes to your face ladies and be sure to speak up if your unhappy with the shape and not spare anyone's feelings. I was not happy with shape she created and I regret not speaking up because I felt guilty complaining as she was already having a horrible experience in LA. I did however show her reference photos and expressed that I like a soft, natural and rounded brow and trusted her skills based on her Instagram work. Nothing about my brows are a natural look. For years, my wife expressed unhappiness with the thinness and irregularity of her eyebrows. She would spend a lot of time every morning filling them in with an eyebrow pencil. She did a good job, but it took up too much time. When she first mentioned wanting to have her eyebrows tattooed on, I was not supportive. To me, it seemed ridiculous to have something so permanent done. What if one of the tattoos was crooked, too thin, too fat, off-center, or who knows what? Ultimately, it was her decision to make. When she finally decided to commit to visiting BrowBeat, I was blown away by the final result. I also learned that the process is called microblading, and it is not the same as traditional tattooing. Microblading does require touchups over time, as fading occurs. This is actually a good thing, since it enables the shape of the eyebrow to be slowly modified if desired as the years progress. My wife's eyebrows look so natural that it's hard to believe she had anything done. There is nothing unnatural about the final result. She has gone for touchups the past two years, and this year (2023) was her third visit. It's really quite remarkable. My wife is so happy with the results, and I am relieved and happy too. I think the photos speak for themselves. Linda had nothing but praise for the process and the professionalism of Tenille.
