The final bit is a little more steep (no scrambling required) on rock, as well as a few steps carved into the rock. The end of the trail is marked with a sign that says "trail end" so you don't go wandering off into the wilderness. I couldn't really explore the hanging garden area as I realized that there was a strong buzzing noise that turned out to be swarming bees in a tree nearby! Oh well, I got to enjoy the cooler air for a moment before fleeing. Note: There are no bathrooms at the trailhead or anywhere near the parking lot. Plan accordingly and bring water and sun protection.

Gorgeous view of the this prehistoric landscape. Imagine this area was the bottom of the ocean 119 million years ago, pre human. There's a couple of slight steep incline so be aware but very doable if you take it slow. Bring plenty of water to hydrate on warm days above 80 degrees. Happy Trails!!

I think this hike was well worth it, being much shorter and much more accessible. Also known as the Beehive Loop Trail, this trail is 1.3 miles with minimal elevation gain. You see and can walk on cool-looking sandstone formations, with undulating striations that play with your eyes. The parking lot is a dirt pullout near the side of the road. There's no bathroom however right across the street is the campground with composting toilets. The trail is marked with cairns and rocks lining the path. It's hard to get lost, but there are some side off shoots that you can follow off the main path.

Biidi the Arch is a very random but cool spot right behind a Shell gas station in Page, AZ that you…read morecan walk to. It's actually more like a big sand cove rather than a true "arch", but if you get up to the back wall inside and turn your camera to wide lens, you can see why it is actually a large/wide arch. There's a lot of sand on the walk up here which is also a decent hill, it only takes a few minutes but don't discount how tired you might get in the hot sun walking through sand -- if you have mobility issues it may be challenging. But once you get to the end, you can get a nice photo and head back the way you came. I appreciate that they put a little sign by it describing the place, including that "Biidi" means "The Arch" in the Navajo language. It's nice that it's remained free to visit as well, particularly because it's a really small place, but it is unique. I wouldn't even call this hike because it's so short, so even if you're tired, if you're passing Page, AZ I'd recommend a quick stop here!

The trail itself is short, easy, and perfect if you just want something light but still scenic. The arch is a really cute spot for photos and a nice little reward at the end. It's not a long or intense hike, which makes it great for a quick stop during a road trip. I love how accessible it is--you don't have to go out of your way or plan a whole day around it. Just park, explore, and enjoy the views. Definitely worth the stop if you're passing through the area!

It was a wonderful tour…read more Not as lengthy as I thought, but the young tour guide was very calm and patient. A lot of beauty to admire at the canyon, and really nice stories to be heard and shared. The tour guide did state multiple times that we can take our time. He also created a demo micro slot canyon before our eyes. All the drivers were very nice. Here are some things to note though: -The check in process was confusing the day we went. We kept getting asked if we checked in. Initially we weren't greeted by anyone. Then a very pretty lady helped get us started with signing a paper waiver. -In my opinion, we actually had a large group, a bit over 20 people if I recall correctly. However, it wasn't overwhelming. -We separated into taking a wagon and small bus to the slot canyon. There were two different groups. Getting back to the destination spot was split into a bus, an older suburban, and a UTV. Not sure if the wagon ever came back. -We were the last tour group of the day. -They have portable potties near parking grounds, but is about a 8-20 min transportation dependent on type of vehicle and how fast you are from the slot canyon. -Definitely don't want someone who has mobility issues or have discomfort while walking coming to this trip! -No videos

Can't recommend this enough for anyone who loves adventure and wants to experience the Grand Canyon from the Colorado river! Great value with charter flights, helicopter ride out of the canyon, 3 delicious meals cooked and served daily by the crew as well as snacks and drinks on the raft. Side hikes in the canyon and world class white water thrills! The scenery, the night skies, the serenity of the canyon are mind blowing. Wanted to do it again as soon as it was over!

Respect the rules while you are on Navajo land. No videos and only take photos when standyon dirt/rock. Never in a metal stair. The Navajo tour guides will also help you take the best pics at the right spots.
