I sent him pictures about my piano before he came hoping he can do his job in 1 day He came on 9/18/23 checked on piano and said he didn't have the right string . He needs to come back to do all the jobs and asking $200 deposit for order new string. He came back on 9/27/23 to replace the F string and tuning the piano which takes 2 hours total. I paid $250 more. So I paid total $450 for his job. Two days after 9/29/33 when practice my songs I realized the F# doesn't sound right. It sounds like I put my feet on the pedal which I didn't. But my level is just 1/4 of the first book of piano for adults, I doubted myself. I trust him with all the praise through reviews and his age. Now I start to learn blue songs. I have to practice more F# key. It makes the sound weird. The songs don't sound right. I contacted him 10/5/23 about this problem. He said just wait a little bit longer and do another tuning. The string just stretched?!!! How can it stretch right after he does his job? How can I believe on a bad job like that after charging me $450 ? My piano sounds beautiful before and now it doesn't sounds good anymore. He spent over 2 hours with the piano, making this newly inherited heirloom sing again to make my grandma proud. He was very honest, and did not upsell me or even try to. In fact, I tried to upsell him and asked about a cleaning since this piano had been sitting for a few decades. He said it was in excellent condition, and his mantra was "If it's not broke, don't fix it," which I really appreciated. He also explained every step of the process, and used a tool that allowed me to watch him as he tuned it. I could see how when he first came it was really out of pitch and tune on the app, and then when he did the full tuning I could watch the symbol on the app go into the tuned position. He was also a really nice, courteous guy. He took off his shoes on our new carpet. He never asked me to leave a review, and I'm glad I went with him. I'm definitely going to use him again.
