When I left to my event and changed into my new pair of heels, I noticed the shoes were two different shades! One was more gritty and worn in looking (because it was the display shoe), but the matching shoe they got from the back was so much brighter & vibrant that it was unwearable! Of course sale items are final sale, so I went back to the store asking if they could trade one of the shoes so I could wear them without looking like I was wearing two different color shoes and they said "final sale...I would recommend you just setting the newer shoe in the sun for a while." I ended up not liking the color-way I had purchased so I was able to pick another color they had in stock. I was sitting in the middle lounge area the whole time, and the SA took the shoes I wanted to exchange to the back to ring them up. At no time did she let me know of the return policy (which apparently is not the same as the one stated on the website). Today I came back in to return the sneakers all together because I felt they were too big for my frame. Though I should not have to explain why I want to return something to the sales associate. A different woman was in the store and she told me that I could not return them for a full refund, (though it is stated otherwise on Balenciaga's website) and that I could only get store credit for the return. This should have been told to me before I purchased the shoes in the first place. The SA took me to the back and showed me a small plaque where the boutique's return policy is stated. The problem is, that I never once was shown this, nor did I go back there because I was sitting in the lounge area the whole time, as the first SA took my item to the back herself to ring it up. Now I am stuck with a store credit and can't even use it online. I hate that I will have to give one of the knuckleheads working at this location the commission on whatever item I purchase with the store credit. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

There were a lot of sizes left in this style on sale, but not in my size. Jessica found a variety of dresses in petite and regular with a similar silhouette for me to try, and eventually she found one a size lower than I suggested in the original dress I wanted to try. It ended up fitting me enough to see what size length I should order, so I ordered it to be shipped for free to my house. I also have a rule to try on a dress on sale that has only one left and is in my size, and that one fit me too. She told me that 95% of WHBM clothes are washable (I always thought they were dry clean only) so I bought this fancy dress with a sale price of $50 and I can wash it in my wash machine! I was so happy about that. I appreciate the service here and honest feedback on fit.
