I'm certain that the workers are racist, but even if they're not, they're at the very least nasty people who obviously shouldn't be in retail. I've been here on slow days and busy days so there can be 3-7 visible employees. If items are ordered online they can be returned in store. The policy has changed regarding returns. They have to be done in a 30-day window, or if the order was placed on a Lane Bryant credit card, it's extended to 45-days. The best time to shop is when the new clothing season starts for a greater selection of merchandise. The second best time is when you need something. If you like something but they don't have it in the size you need, they will see if it's available online or in another location.

Next statement arrives showing a balance of $27.23, I called, the customer service rep says it is a late charge from the $24.51 and will be credited. Again, the short payment of $0.36 was never mentioned. Today I receive a bill for $56.36! Once again I call, the rep says it is 2 months of late charges and interest on the short payment of $0.36 I originally made! The rep was nice enough to waive the late charges - but said I still owed $4.00 plus the 36 cents I short paid two months ago! The rep said there was no way they could intercept the computer and waive the $4.00. That's hard to believe! I paid the $4.36 in protest (1,111.11% interest is a little steep!) Talk about ripping people off! I have cancelled my account, suggested to my family and friends they do the same! These stores, the clothing inside, and the brand as a whole has changed quite a lot since then. To be honest, I stopped shopping here altogether for a minute. I didn't find their clothing to be inclusive, I'm a small human and still had trouble finding something to fit. The over sexualized ads weren't as alluring anymore and I was annoyed they weren't evolving. So I just stopped going. It wasn't until recently that I started to notice they had upped their game and appeared to have finally gotten the memo. Back in the day they never used black for anything, which sucked because it's obviously the best color to wear. Well, not only has that changed but the stores, the clothing, and the brand has changed as well -- and for the better! I recently stopped by because I had learned they were having a sale on jeans and that they now run true to size and that I might enjoy them. I'm pleased to say that I LOVE THEM! I grabbed two pairs along with some vegan leather leggings, which are amazing. I'll definitely be back. The staff were somewhat helpful, I was happy to see everyone in masks, and the changing rooms were really nice. I liked that I had the ability to adjust the lighting. So high-tech. When attempting to return a Christmas gift, I was notified we were outside of the 30 day window. Her response was, "I cannot return these items, as my store would be flagged for theft". While I appreciate her priority being "her store", it leaves very little room for prioritizing the customer. Amanda subsequently became "uncomfortable". Amanda depicted inexperience and immaturity. As a manager, her inability to rectify the situation and have a tough conversation, was upsetting. Additional training and coaching is needed. Get it together, Abercrombie.

I was making a return yesterday, and unfortunately what stood out to me, were the aggressive sales tactics of the staff. When I walked in, I was bombarded by multiple staff asking if they could assist me with finding something, and one staff literally gave me a dirty look when I said I just wanted to make a return. I later heard her at the check out shaming a customer stating "you're only buying one item! Are you sure there isn't anything else you want?" For a brand that promotes social consciousness, they should not be encouraging this type of behavior from their staff while our economy is in financial crisis. I felt so bad for that customer as she blushed, and a simple thank you for your purchase could go a long way.

I have to admit that their marketing campaign is what drew me there. They are one of the only large brands I've noticed that markets their clothing to women of all sizes. They don't airbrush their models like crazy and I can relate to the women wearing their clothes. I really dig that. This location is right outside the main mall at Easton Town Center, currently it's right next to the new Shake Shack. The store is kept clean and organized and their staff is always nice. Most of the time I just stop in to browse, but a few weeks ago I stopped in looking for a summer wedding outfit. I grabbed a few things of my own and a young lady helping me grabbed a few options too. We had fun trying them on and while I didn't find exactly what I was looking for, I still got an adorable jumper. It was also on sale, winning I was! I can definitely see myself continuing to shop at American Eagle and this location will likely be the one I visit.
