Yummy food here! I love there pupusas! The restaurant is very cute and comfy! Lots of seating! They had space for a larger party too which was nice! Our server was also so nice, he let us sample the horchata which was so good! I would recommend!!

Do yourself a favor and make sure you come here! While it is busy and loud, it is a welcoming environment with mouthwatering food. The portion sizes were much larger than my guy and I expected, and we couldn't get enough of any of it! I'm not sure how much impact this is going to make while reading this, but I LOVED the beans that the chips came with. I want you to understand that I have never in my life liked these kind of beans. I wish I knew what they do differently so that I could make this myself. Foodwise, my guy and I split a Cheese with Loroco Pupusa (flavorful and really stuffed, which was appreciated), Ceviche de Camaron (refreshing, citrusy and perfectly balanced in flavor. Honestly, it didn't even need the tostada to be enjoyable), and Plato Tipico Hondureno (I was obsessed with the chicharrones because it was very different than anything I've ever had before and I would honestly say better. And the plaintains were cooked perfectly.) I would absolutely get everything again! My guy and I couldn't stop raving after each new bite we had. I'm drooling slightly writing this review just reminiscing about how good it all was. This is somewhere worth driving out of the way to have again.

Best pupusas I've ever had. Full Stop. But don't go on a night I want to go. I've yet to have a server who spoke English. No complaint, just a recommendation to brush up on your spanish. "Dos chicharron pupusas por favor" will get you by. They are very patient with my awful Spanish but I try my best. I order a chili and cheese and a chicharron. I like to get the arroz masa but traditional is great as well. They also have salsa that appeals more to my pallete than the traditional fair served with pupusas. I forgot to photograph the pupusas, but proof of the salsa was on my roll.

I had been on a small "no-food" diet for the past 2 weeks, so when my fast was over, I felt a strong craving for a certain food: papusas. While I have not ever had pupusas in my life, the craving was already there. Within a quick Yahoo search, this restaurant, Catrachos, came up. I got my clothes on (with a noticeably smaller waist) and headed out the door to satisfy my craving. This restaurant is located on a strip mall. Parking was easily found right in front of the entrance, something much needed when the weather is horrid. There were many items for sale in the front of the restaurant, but I skipped through, ready to end my starvation with a papusa or two. We were seated kindly by the wait staff. Since I do not appear hispanic, the waiter/waitress both gave us plenty of time to browse the menu. One man was considerate enough he came out with a picture menu so I knew what I was getting my stomach into. I decided on ordering not only a pupusa, but also some birria tacos with consume. Let me tell you, the tacos were WORTH IT. I have been to Los Tapatios before (well-known for their birria tacos), and this was much more affordable and well-made! The consume was a bit thick, but that just means more flavor less water...duh. When the pupusa came, I was already stuffed. I tried the chicharron, cheese, and bean pupusa. There was an option for corn or rice flour(?) for the outside of the pupusa. I preferred the corn. The rice was chewier and had a different flavor. They bring out a bucket of pickled vegetables (Curtido - as I learned from a Yahoo search) and a sauce for the pupusas that is not spicy. Really TASTY. To top off the happiness I experienced with this place, they gave chips, salsa, AND refried beans FOR FREE! The BEANS!!!!! Ugh, I have to come back soon. Well, this is now my new spot for pupusas and I will be coming back many, many, many times. Although my pants size will double, there is a massive-sized pupusa I saw someone else order which I will be obtaining next time. Watch out!!!

Came with a friend. Was sat down immediately. It was lot busy. When you walk in they have a little area with goods, products you can buy. Ordered a bean and cheese pupusa Came out quickly. Curtido was delicious and flavorful. Definitely would come back. It was about $18 for 2 pupusas and 2 drinks Drinks cost more than the pupusa...hmm Would like to come back to try other dishes.

First off, some advice- order ahead. I thought I'd just order takeout in person and wait a little and go but even with the restaurant nearly empty (I only saw customers at one table), it took 45 minutes to get my food after I ordered it. They said it would be 25 so keep that in mind as well. Besides that, everyone was nice. They had a chair for me so I got some reading time in. And the Pupusas were good. I got the shrimp and cheese and the bean and cheese and tried some of my friend's steak and cheese. I liked the flavors but I think they are intended to be eaten with some sort of topping because they were a little dry? The cabbage mix and the dipping sauce they came with were too spicy so I was happy I could put mild salsa on them at my friend's house.

Food was nice with a good price! I love Ceviche de Camaron Tostada and my colleague had big burrito, he likes it!

It was a nice pick-up restaurant! But the eating inside was also recommendable. Food was fresh and good.

Catrachos is one of the best restaurants in Salt Lake City, period! (It's West Valley but- who cares) I think it deserves more hype. Their mariscos are delicious and at a great price, and they make delicious pupusas! This place is our go to if we want a taste of home. Nos encanta!

I had a favorite Honduran place in Houston that I frequented but this place actually topped it! I came here with my sister inlaw from Honduras and brother who served in El Salvador. I got a pupusa, balleada, and pollo con Tajadas and it was all so good! The pupusas were some of my favorite! The balleada was very similar to my last favorite place but was much more expensive. Something unique about this place was the live singer and karaoke. The singer came to our table to talk to our kids and ask for requests in exchange for tips. Biggest pro: Food!! Taste, portions and all of it! Biggest Con: Prices

I've been here quite a few times and love the pupusas and baleadas sooo much. The last time we went, we splurged on a parrillada . It said it served 4 but we didn't believe it. You should definitely believe it. We ended up taking home 3 full boxes of food. It was delicious. And at $35 it's a great deal. I also had 3 cups of maracuya juice, which is my absolute favorite. They don't always have it, so I am extra excited when they do. Also, if you're doing take out, call and ask about their specials. They have different deals for take out all the time!

We were a larger group and they were super attentive to us. We got papusas and horchata Salvadoreño. I especially loved the horchata.
