Pupusas de Queso con Loroco and Revueltas (the size of personal pizzas)
    Eddie R.

After having gone to El Salvador this past July and missing it wholeheartedly I came to the only Salvadoran place you need to go to here in SLC. Their service gets two thumbs up, their portions are big, and of course their food is delicious. Muy amables... Porciónes grandes. Comida ni se diga está muy deliciosa. Ratings de Comida: Pupusas: Queso con loroco (4.25) Revueltas (chupa dedos aka finger lickin' good 4.75) Tamal: De cuche-pork (delectable 4) Postre: Empanadas de leche (5 simplemente una maravillas) Atol de elote (4.25 takes me back to Beverly in LA) Las pupusas cuando la mezclas con curtido causa que te mires besando a tu prójimo jaja. Careful you will be kissing thy neighbor when you mix the pupusas and cabbage slaw with red sauce. Ya van varias veces acá. Gracias por todo ya que siempre son lo mejor y la nostalgia que traen de la patria lo hace sentir a uno como que esté en un comidero de Planes de Rendero! Literally with the ambiance it's like you're back in El Salvador except we get a side of snow out here.

This used to be my favorite place to eat authentic salvadoran food but after 3 bad experiences i think i am done with this place. 1. Bad Customer Service 2. Bad Customer Service 3. Pupusas were no good at all See pictures.

In search of authentic Salvadoran pupusas? This is the place! Best served hottt, the cheese & loroco pupusas along with the carne asada pupusas are my go to. I love the ambience of the restaurant- the colors, the photos of Central America all over the walls and bar, plus the service here is super friendly! I would note, if you're in a hurry don't plan on dining in- Call ahead and order to go! Overall, these are the best pupusas I've had in the U.S. and I highly recommend. ¡Que rico!

The pupusas here are the best!!! I ordered two loroco pupusas and my husband ordered revueltas. We also ordered a chocobanano for my kid and horchata de morro. The service was great the lady was so nice. The ambiance was really cool there's a lot of cool art and a bakery we stopped at right next door.

This restaurant is my favorite in all of the Salt Lake Valley. I love papusas so much, crisp with the queso or carne asada. Don't forget the cabbage salsa and hot sauce on top that they serve to every table. I love the empanadas, fried fresh and made from plantains with either milk or frijoles inside! (I like mine without sugar so I can taste the sweetness of the plantain.) The family and staff there are so friendly, patient and kind. The blended fruit drinks are to die for, especially watermelon or strawberry with milk, but be careful, they will fill you up. I could eat here, everyday.

I went here yesterday. I'm a big fan of this place already. It was highly recommended by a friend. She even has stacks of business cards from the place which made me wonder if she works here? I ordered 4 "pupusas reveltas" a side of refried beans with Platano Maduro" and Horchata El Savador style. The food is great. The pupusas had beans, cheese with Loroco and the pork. The taste delicious. Not greasy like other places. The refried beans and platano maduro were great as well. They came with hand made tortillas. The price is great. The cost for a pupusa is 2.45 per. I would definitely come back her again. If your craving pupusas I would recommend this place and rank it with Mexsal in Provo or Los Primos in Logan Utah.

Love this place!!!!! Ok it is hidden!! Super hidden! But once you find it hidden by the apartments (hint hint) you have found a great treasure. Omg I will be back a million times. Not even kidding I ordered half of the menu! My favorite parts were the Papusas obviously and the hen tamales. Warning the food is so good you will want everything!!!! The decor is super cute like a child's coloring book. They painted on everything!!! The glass the tables!!! Everything. But you are here for the amazing Salvadoran food!!! Omg so good!!! Seat yourself and order half the menu lol large soda, two cheese, bean and pork papusas, a tamale, plantenos, pastelanos and a Pamela to go $16!!!!

    Combo meal - delicious!

First time eating there, definitely not the last! Delicious pupusas and great salsa with it. We got a lemonade type of drink that was good too. We'll be back soon!

Totally fulfilled my pupusa craving. I ordered 3 for dinner but was totally filled up after 2, so it was an "encore presentation" the next day. The pupusas were well stuffed with meat, beans and cheese. Great flavor, well prepared and served fast makes me crave it again. This is a place that you will not want to pass up! My order was to go, so I cannot comment much more on the place other than they have a display case with tons of baked breads to choose from. All looked tempting, but my trip was for pupusas and pupusas is what I got!

The food is really good and it is Made when you order it so you may have to sit a while while they make it but it is really good.
