Terrible terrible terrible service, the lady who answered the phone hung up on me because I asked her to change one thing on my order, when I went in person to order she proceeded to show me her order pad and told me that I made her make all these scribbles on her pad because of my one request to change one thing on my order. The worst service I have ever received. I frequent restaurants on a daily basis and the service here was beyond awful. Rude server who would not attend to our table, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Waitress got upset when I asked for my drink and told me to get up and grab it myself. We had to walk out on our meal. Never again will we visit this horrible place due to the service. Just to fallow up, the cops were called and the owners only concern was getting the check paid. This is a great authentic el salvadorian restaurant that specializes in papusas. They are a corn bread like tortilla filled with a bean paste or meat depending on which one is ordered with a type of Cole slaw on top. They are pretty good. They also have a Philly cheesesteak for the not so adventurous at heart. The prices are fair but everything is made to order from scratch so the wait for your food is above average since it's all made to order. read more

The food here is amazing. I couldn't ask for a better taste of home food The ladies working there were also so kind and helpful! It was odd to see philly cheese steak on the menu at a salvadoreño restaurant and so I was about stand offish and expected it to be some disaster of an experience but luckily (or unluckily) the only uh oh moment was when someone opened a what I thought was a locked bathroom door. We ordered the yuca and chicharrón which was fried to perfection and the ranchero eggs that comes with plátanos. There might have been a sprinkle of too much salt and the beans were a little watery but still good. The pupusas are truly the star of the show and well worth the wait. We both did have to go to the bathroom soon after so be ready lol. read more

This place is very good. The papusas are delicious, the best one is the pork and cheese and make sure to slather every bite with the pickled cabbage/slaw that comes with them, it is so good. The horchata is delicious. The service is pretty quick. The atmosphere is nothing fancy. I like the papusas so much I try and stop here every time I'm in SLC. read more

Go for the fresh, made to order papusas. Sit back and dont be in a hurry because the food was great. Typically there is only one or two people on shift so if you're feeling impatient, skip it until you're relaxed. The cream filled empanadas were great too. read more

The worst service, waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes for the food, waitress with a terrible attitude, apparently the food was gonna be ready by 30 min yeah right we checked and they haven't even taken a glance on the order...they didn't even check it once so pretty much they haven't started at all. People came after us they got their food first and they ordered the same stuff as we did, bunch of people walked out because no one got their order.
